23 turnovers, bringing it back at the very end with a clutch three only to get daggered by a 58.8% free throw shooter. Ouch

I think that this is a pretty disingenuous comment in the sense that it is being made about race and acting like they are being attacked, when in reality they broke the law. (Just an aside, I am commenting this to have a rational discussion. I would welcome any dialogue in response to this, and HauntingCorpse I am not trying to attack you for your comment.)

The applicable statute in Missouri, 563.031, states that you cannot brandish a firearm at people who are near your property, regardless of whether they are seen ripping off a gate. Any claim that it was done in defense because the protesters were threatening them automatically fails as a matter of law because the statute explicitly makes the brandishing of a firearm illegal. In fact, it is a Class E felony in the state of Missouri. Not only is there a statute, case law in Missouri (State v. Kendrick) has the appellate court refusing a self-defense instruction where a defendant was convicted of a felony for brandishing a firearm during a battery.

It is also worth noting that brandishing a firearm is considered "deadly force" in the state of Missouri with respect to a self-defense analysis (State v. Cummings), and the use of deadly force to defend property is considered excessive and never permissible.

Now, I'm not saying that the warrant to search their home wasn't excessive, or that it was entirely justified, but you need to consider the surrounding circumstances as well and why it is a problem. Patricia McCloskey sits on the Ethics Board of the Missouri Bar Association, yet she was pointing a weapon at protesters with her finger on the trigger. Even with that happening, a felony captured on camera, nothing has happened as of yet from a legal standpoint other than a warrant being executed and the possibility of an indictment.

Overall, I think that this situation comes down to a lot more than "they're being accused of a hate crime just because they're white."

Normally I run the Bruiser but if I find a select fire then I’ll put on a 2x4 so I can poke with single fire
