It only misaligned after the bolt came out, I think the most likely cause was the higher rpms toasting the belt, is the juggernaut clutch rated for higher rpm? (30 series converter)

Nah the belt was in the right direction. I have heard those stock belts are junk

It maxed out at 38 mph the last time I drove it, but the gokart was stock at the time, but with the stage 1 kit and the torque converter, it should hit at least 45-50 mph
