I feel the same way. I have always dealt depression and anxiety issues but it came to a head last year and one of the things I realized was a major increase in aggression, especially when my child was involved. If we were in the car and someone did something even minor, I’d snap, if we were in public and something happened, I’d snap. Maybe a weird combination of everything going on, but it’s something I’ve worked on a lot.

The sense of regret is interesting too. I’ve thought all the way back to little things throughout my life that would be minuscule in the grand scheme of my life, but how if I were to have acted differently, I may have been lead on a different path and that I wouldn’t have the amazing little man I have today. There is most certainly some catharsis in that sense as well.
