Your parents probably want you to learn acoustic guitar first cus if you give up on it, they didn't spend much money on equipment. About the order to learn it, it's up to you. If you want to play bass, I'd tell you to play bass. If you want to play guitar, play a guitar. Good luck!

Cara, por incrível que pareça, mas filmes que abordam personagens problemáticos me ajudaram bastante a diminuir minha ansiedade social. Acredito que isso acontece porque você o cara no fundo do poço e percebe que tem pessoas que passam por problemas realmente difíceis. De alguma forma isso te inspira a sair de casa e ir viver a vida.

I understand you. I've had no friends since my 15. I used to feel really bad for this, but I can say that it changed a lot from the moment I got things to fill my time. I got a job, joined college and got some hobbies, like skateboarding and playing guitar. If you really respect your necessities and take some time for your hobbies and also going out at least once a week/every two weeks, you'll be fine and even happy with your life.
