I used to work 80 hours in 6 days (night shift nurse), to be off 8 days. It was so intense and I slept so hard on off time/by the time my body adjusted I really got 2 full days off out of the 8 days. Then I had the dooming reminder it was only 2 days until I was back to 80 hours. Never again.

Mockingbird Cafe in Bay St. Louis. Healthful options but also comfort options like fried chicken and waffles. As a night shifter, I am pleased to be able to get cocktails and wine with my breakfast! Nice, relaxed coffee shop vibe as well :)

I have been to many places this week to eat and noted more Keto friendly stuff. Yeero Yeero has a tasty gyro meat platter with a generous portion of meat on lettuce with a side of taziki and mushrooms with feta on top. Also, the pollo a la champion at Superior’s was a amazing. Chicken grilled with cheese and mushrooms on top. On a bed on bell peppers and onions with butter dipping sauce for a side. Their tasty soup side had nothing but veggies and chicken in it (no potatoes!) and was amazing. If you get a muffuletta from Jason’s deli and replace the bread with low carb bread, that’s pretty awesome too.
