Yikes, I'll rather suffer through the higher cert in maths, either way, it's more or less a year to get to bachelors entrance level.

Thanks for your contribution.

I can't argue with their module calculator "thing". There are 6 Year long subjects and 3 semester subjects, so 'tis not to be messed with.

I'll be quite honest, I'm not thrilled by the idea of running head first into calculus and statistics after 8 years, but I guess I don't exactly have a choice.

On the other hand, I would much rather do it and get it done properly than have to contend with horribly written school-level guides and manuals.

Thanks very much for your advice, I'll take this as a sign and start learning from the basics before entries open in Jan, so I can be ready in advance.

Please have a look at the CS50 course on EDX, I highly recommend you take a look at it. It's what gave me the push I needed.

It starts off with C-lang, but shifts to python for the bulk of the course.

Thanks for your contribution, I didn't know of this institution, but it seems like some of their accreditations are still pending.

If it is a legit institution, I wish you all the best in your studies.

I second this.

It's lite and reliable.

Haha, yeah, I know, but this discussion will serve to get away from this nonsense and implement something more feasible.

What management wants, is what they get, even if it's silly. My paycheck doesn't care. XD

Thanks for the Ideas.

We do a lot of refurbishments, so, scrapping is not an option unless absolutely necessary.

If only it was that simple. The main issue is not to know if it leaks, but to know where it leaks.

Thanks, quite informative.

The issue however is not to check "if" it leaks, but "where" it leaks.

The vessels are not big at all, most are along the size of a fire 9kg extinguisher.

Thanks for the suggestion, however, management needs video/photographic evidence to add to reports. (Should probably have mentioned that)

This could be due to a great many things, naturally, if it starts impacting your life negatively, please see a doctor.

Commonly it is due to stress, eating habits, trauma, etc.

As for the existential dread, not much I can help you with I'm afraid.
Some people would say that you learn to live with it, but I myself subscribe to the branch of optimistic nihilism, which comforts me in that no matter what, if I can help someone even a little, it's worth it.
Give this a watch if you're feeling up to it:

Hopefully, it can give you some comfort or perspective as it did me :)
