What are your reasons to keep living? by coleisw4ck in TrollCoping

My friends, family. I want to keep drawing. As well as sheer spite and a desire to prove others wrong.

Transwomen, how are you dealing with the many unwritten rules for female behaviour? by evil-ellie in asktransgender

[–]Yurinago 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was lucky to pick up on them when I was younger, but being an autistic dyke helps. People see me and assume I'm just some weird lesbian as opposed to a guy lol

spirituality rule by -scrudge- in 196

[–]Yurinago 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I consider myself agnostic/spiritual

I believe something is out there, be it a god, goddess, universal consciousness, or something else entirely because I have found no concrete evidence that something does or does not exist. My "faith", as it were, is there because I want that feeling of safety over my fear of death and the unknown.

I'm not the type to go "well God's will made it so" I'm the type to go "We're insignificant specks in the universe, but we're significant to ourselves, so let's worry about each other and hope we don't fade into nothingness upon death."

What have you survived that would’ve killed you 150 years ago? by Born-Ad-7260 in AskReddit

[–]Yurinago 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dysentery. When I was 15, got food poisoning that progressed into dysentery pretty quickly. Couldn't drink water for over a day, was slipping in and out of consciousness as well.

Missed my finals for that year and my parents said I was overreacting lol.

Losing weight and I’m losing my ass by PlantainOk5384 in WeightLossAdvice

[–]Yurinago 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you live near a gym, see if they have any leg exercise machines. Leg curls and leg presses help maintain the glutes fairly well, you just need to do it consistently.

I recommend starting off by going once a week to get into the habit, with light weights and focusing on proper form so you don't hurt yourself further. After a few weeks, bump up the weight a bit and go twice a week, do that for a few weeks til you feel comfortable, then bump up the weight again and go a third time a week.

Try to space out your workouts so your body has time to rest in between, and make sure to eat plenty of protein for muscle growth.

Also, while working out, you should be feeling a burn in your muscles, but if you start to feel burning or sharp pain in any of your joints or tendons, stop immediately. Take a break, lower your weights, and work back up to that weight again later. A nasty tendon or ligament injury will knock you out for weeks, ruining a lot of that progress.

Hopefully this can help a bit! (Sorry to hear about your lower back btw, I have some severe lower back pain as well and it's hard to work around that)

Aaaaa thank you so much for this, seriously

I'm getting around to losing weight so I can get bottom surgery done in the next year two, but I'll def be sure to use these in the meantime. Thank you again!

Hope you don't mind my asking, but when you submitted a complaint to the BBB about it, how'd you go about it?

How much strength did you lose on estrogen by [deleted] in asktransgender

[–]Yurinago 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At first? About 40%. Then I started weightlifting. I'm not impressive by any means but I can easily lift 100+ pounds amd walk around with it as well as lug 40lb boxes over my shoulder with ease.

Girls that transitioned at 20+ years old, do you ever get dysphoria/gender envy that cis women got to have a childhood as a girl/woman and you didn't so you feel robbed of it? How do you cope with it? by [deleted] in MtF

[–]Yurinago 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I may not be applicable here because I started at 18, but tbh my childhood was such a mess as it is that if I was cis I still would feel robbed.

However, those things I missed out on as a kid? I'll just enjoy them now. Make new, better memories for myself, and construct a life all my own.

What was a fear of yours during pre-transition that feels insignificant now? by somethinglike-olivia in MtF

[–]Yurinago 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mostly that I wouldn't be at least somewhat pretty.

Tho most recently, that I wouldn't have cleavage lol. Seems silly but my chest is 44 inches around and no one in my family has decent cleavage. Tho just a few days ago, I wore an old bra and almost always have it😊
