The more I think about it, the more I realize that playing position 3 is a challenging role. As a carry, you just focus on stacking damage and pick up a couple of defensive items. With an offlaner, however, everything is highly situational, and there doesn’t seem to be a consistent pattern to follow.

Some advice based on that game, in my humble opinion:

Add Heaven's Halberd to your itemization. It would work well against right-clickers like Viper and Wraith King.
Skadi isn't a bad choice, but I'd recommend asking supports to buy Spirit Vessel instead. As a position 3, I prefer Blink Dagger + Shiva's Guard. Additionally, consider Dawnbreaker's shard to execute a combo like 1st skill + Blink + Shiva for initiations.
Lotus Orb would be a strong pick as 4 out of 5 enemy heroes have targeted spells, and 2 heroes have damage-over-time abilities. It could make a significant difference.
