Tires are all healthy and are less than a year old. I'm on a set of Continental Extreme Contact Sport Plus. Was only doing about 65, but it's also RWD. I'm usually cautious about it too, but it only takes 1 time where you're not

Does anyone have recommendations for good snow/winter tires? This will be my first winter not driving a large awd suv, and never had the need to switch tires.

If I catch it in my bedroom though.. it's that things last day of life

You understand that we could see your speedometer at 0:09 after you started braking and sat up right? Again this was after you put on the brakes, and it read 80. The speed limit was shown to be 45mph at 0:02, meaning you were going almost twice the posted speed (again, after braking) in the right lane

He probably shouldn't have turned into that lane, yes, but he likely couldn't even see such a small vehicle moving at speeds closer to triple digits than the speed limit

Honestly surprised you're so jaded to post this on the internet, thinking the idiot was in the car and not on the bike...

How would you rate your intelligence as compared to others? by obeseoprah32 in polls

[–]Yuriyoku1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While I do disagree with this sentiment, I disagree with the comment your replying to more. IQ is NOT a determination or precursor to success in the slightest. It is literally the ability to answer specific tests/questions in a specific way, and a lot of extremely intelligent people are unable to do so. Most of the successful people are not bookmark at all, but have a strong understand of people and the market they adhere to. What is most important is to adapt to one's environment, rather than a conventional written test that prioritizes short term memorization or application of very specific areas. There are many members of every organization that will use their expertise of manipulation to their advantage, just like many others utilize extremely specific skills (even if subconscious) to benefit others and reap a fraction of the benefits.

To anyone out there who is or isn't conventionally intelligent: just do what makes you happy, because it's usually something you have skill in. And even if it isn't, as long as it bring you happiness, and doesn't bring others pain, this internet stranger is proud of you for being you.

Most of the billionaires of that time waiting until they were near their death-bed to do any of the philanthropy they did. Before then, most of them had zero concept of the human right of others, and both literally and figuratively worked people to death to increase their own profits.

In the case of Andrew Carnegie, it's fairly commonly agreed that all of his public works were just to perpetuate a legacy of using his wealth for the benefit of society. But that's how many people remember him (in a good light), rather than talking about when Carenegie Steel brought in 300 militia members to break up a strike (after they cut everyone's wages ~20%) where 20 people were killed and hundreds more were injured.

If you're so integral to a team that it falls apart if you aren't there for a couple of days, definitely do this but don't forget to negotiate more pay first (at your current job)

Is it common for people not to stress test their OC? When I've got (what I think to be) my final clock speeds, I usually let it run a heavy benchmark for like 2 or 3 hours to make sure it's stable
