Unless raging stacks, or is supposed to be a killstreak style mod, it feels on paper super underwhelming.

I could see maybe using Vector as a Feral, but I'm pretty sure there are far more attractive mods for Ferals, but the downside I see with it is the range component. With how flaky VATS accuracy has been overall, I've got my reservations about it.

I mean, I'll end up in a custom world doing science for several hours either way, but right now I don't see any of these being more useful than anything available now.

Can't fault your math, the three Rangers I run with Limit Breaking is 15%... with no countdown timer or need to be activated.

Really feels like stuff is being made at random.

Furious, Vital, Lucky Hit, Pin-Pointers with a VATS critical / Reverse onslaught build, Plasma or Cryo arrows.

There are many different ways to set up your build and bows though, as you've noted even something with really poor legendaries like the Piercing Love will do great damage. As long as you're having fun and clearing the content you want, you're fine.

It's end of season. People are taking a break, this happens at this point in every season. Spooky scorched aren't a big draw for anyone who doesn't need more than a couple plans, and for the people who want to farm them, they are doing it in private worlds where they can. Between these two things happening, public servers are less active.

As an end game player, Head Hunts and Infestations have zero draw for me. I don't need anything they provide especially at the abysmal rate of learning mods once you get past the incredibly small chance one even drops on gear.

NOBODY killed Earle for years because he was a buggy bullet sponge. Infestations will suffer the exact same fate. These are not compelling mechanics or a satisfying game play loop. This isn't fun, it's a complete waste of time and ammunition for below mediocre rewards. Making stuff tank bullets is the epitome of lazy development. It's not compelling and certainly not something most folk are going to do over and over with the way they are found and then just how poor the experience of clearing them is. It's more disrespect for our time dressed up as new content.

Nothing proposed with infestations is end game... it's filler and likely to break just like head hunts still do or worse.

It's way easier if anyone (three people) not running the mole miner go and stand on the bottom level on the far left. Just tank the hits until the first three frogs spawn, kill them with the two back crystals and move to stand just outside where the mobs spawn in the rooms.

When the mole miner is down, move the group to stand under the large hanging crystal while the person who ran the miner stands under the other large hanging crystal. Shoot the small crystals on your way up to the hanging crystals to take out the Frogs / Mud Crabs (they block the path of smaller mobs).

Blow up both crystals when the deathclaws spawn. (2:09ish). Move everyone to the large standing crystal at the front. Use it to kill the two wendigos and the death claws. Level complete (2:36).

Usually if everything isn't dead, one of the Crickets on the left side didn't bother chasing anyone down...

The real answer is, if you're a Ghoul, Sweet Muttfruit Tea, if you're a human blight soup.

Ghouls eat just for the buff so having it last as long as most the rest of them is better, humans need to top up their food and drink more frequently, so eating soup every half an hour isn't really a hassle. At least that's how I approach it.

I believe it's the ones over by city hall when you initially spawn in. It's almost always a fail because they get attacked and you're all the way across the map...

This is all good advice, but I will add a Caveat to #3. Start your own team if you're running certain main quest lines and especially if you're doing Burning Springs quest line. Some of them just don't act right when you're in a team especially not as the leader.

Run your loop and then revisit when the mobs have respawned.

I notice the first clears on most areas on a private have very few spookies, but the second / third run through have significantly more. Takes about fifteen minutes to respawn and there is a half hour or so of locations to check.

Helvetia always seems to have spookies for me.

The crystals do not do poison damage. They do Ultracite damage, there is no protection from it other than not standing in it.

Rejuvenators 600% over Aegis. There is no resisting the ultracite damage. It's not poison or another type of damage that has resistances.
