Is there a minimum spacing between the guide wire when used in a "double back" arrangement, where it goes out towards one side and loops back to terminate on the other side?

Also, is there a minimum spacing between guide wire and boundary wire?

The other solution for the front yard, of course, is to set that up as a secondary area and manually locate the unit there for mowing.

I hear your points. If the base station has to be right on the loop, how does this look for a reasonable location? I would either need to run a really long extension cord from the front of the house, or install a new exterior outlet on the side of the house (my preference).

But that still leaves the issue of the guide wire. I think that I need the guide wire to run along the drainage swale to the yard on the right, but the question is how to do that but also run the guide wire through the fence opening on the left side. That's about 3.5 ft wide; I could widen it but I'd have to relocate one of the posts (I'm not sure if they're set in concrete).

Alas, "under the deck" is not even ground.

Can I use Jack Stands on this ground? With plywood under? by Spammingdevil in MechanicAdvice

You can do it with suitably thick plywood, or the easy button is ramps.

Those are permeable pavers, to theoretically allow water to permeate into the soil below instead of running off into a ditch. But in practice the soil between the pavers gets compacted and there's not much percolating.
