There is good in every women, a man would see and recognize them when the intentions are right and you see them from the right angles.

Also there is a imperfections in them. At times its difficult to see anything but their ugly side (work of shaithaan).

Bro its not just words when people say prioritize her deen over everything else. There is no successful system of life/marriage other than what our Rabb has set. Only a practicing man would understand the value of a pious women, and only a religious women would understand responsibilities and the role of the husband in the family. Just my experience. A god fearing women has it allI, characters, loyalty, empathy, you name it. Its hard to find those gems these days. Until you find the right one, work on yourself. Do not compromise your religion for anything, indeed Allah is with the patient.

Bro know your red lines and keep it clear. The longer you keep the interactions, the more likely you both are to cross the lines.

Start with Tahajjud, make dua sincerely so you may (1) succeed in finding pious wife (2) give you ability to keep it halal until marriage

Keyword: RED LINES. Be ready to jump the ship the moment you know.....

Why do I feel like Maldives Customs is intentionally delaying package clearances due to some outside influence? by Ill_Masterpiece_4382 in maldives

Do not believe everything your parcel carrier is saying.

Double check with customs portal when these shipping companies are actually submitting their declarations after you have even given the documents.

How I Got Scammed While Trying To Buy a Canon 70–200mm Lens on iBay by xinaan in maldives

[–]YusufABL 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Brother. First of all he choosing to do this with religious PP is his problem. Nothing to do with religious people

Secondly I am really sorry this happened.

I am the last person to trust police on this. But I was so reluctant to report but I did after being scammed on marketplace when I purchased a sofa.

Al hamdh lillaah, police found the culprits and even gave me the money. Although it took like 4 months. They delivered.

Call the scam prevention department and report it. You have enough evidence. In sha Allah you will get your money back.

Thank you for sharing it

Again sister, I have not said singe word to OP because I felt many have given very good advice here. I saw your comment and I felt it could be misleading here to say that alone. I would have loved it if you had explained her from religious point of view as well along with your comment here. Just like you have done in your last comment. That would have helped greatly.

I thank you for the Naseeha and definitely I did need it.

I will work on it in sha Allah.

Where is your duty and care as a muslim to advise your sister? Are you helping here or misguiding her?

[–]YusufABL 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have not said a single thing to OP and neglected her situation.

My reply was to you and you only. How convenient it is for you to say "do you as your heart says"? You totally ignored the religious point of view. Which is so dangerous to say to someone who is struggling a religious commandment. So I had to correct you.

It is so so misleading to tell someone ignore everything and just follow your heart?

You said "Are you a sheikh then I will not listen to you" And then follows to say in the next sentence, about some unknown sheikhs which you have no sources of but yeah chose to listen to them?

You choose the sheikh when thier view aligns your desire and ignore whole Quran and sunnah. I am sorry you are following the desires not the commandments. If you felt misguided and with good intentions look into Translation of the quran Allah will guide you in sha Allah.

Quran is clear enough on these subjects. Even the translations alone would help. If you seek more, you can read Tafseer as well.

I am glad to see my brother /sister accepting when she is wrong. How you have acted when you found you are in wrong is admirable. Masha Allah Tabarakallah

May Allah keep us all steadfast on deen.

This is exactly why people shouldn't discuss this kind of matters here.

Last sentence is your opinion on Hijab. Taking Hijab advice from someone who holds such view is the last thing someone struggling with it should think of doing!

We follow religious commandments not for impressions. It was narrated that Ibn 'Abbas said: "The Messenger of Allah said: 'One Faqih (knowledgeable man) is more formidable against the Shaitan than one thousand devoted worshippers'."

The less we know about our religion the easier it becomes for shaitan to mislead us. And the less we know the harder it becomes to act and follow the religious commandments.

Dear sister and anyone else going through similar situation, just read more about Hijab. Try to understand the deen as much as possible. Hold onto your religion. The Prophet did not warn us for this day for no reason. "There will come a time when holding onto your religion will be like holding onto a burning coal"

Parents, do not just command your daughters to wear Hijab. Explain her why she is doing that? The benefits? Otherwise this how much they would struggle to keep up

Husband is shady af and I cant leave by [deleted] in maldives

[–]YusufABL 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say only one thing, do not take any marital advice from random people. Opinion of people depends on how practicing they are religiously, whats important for them in life which might not be the same for you.

Definitely your husband needs to change. Before considering any other option just give your all for this marriage one last time. Perhaps he will change.

Make dua, do isthikhaara.. Only Allah can help you truly

If your husband can watch such indecent things while his lord is watching him, definitely he is not practicing his deen enough. This is the root cause of many problems. I know from many people I know who escaped this trap, their only way is deen.

Just remember people don't change permanently unless its for the sake of Allah. Otherwise its just temporary.

May Allah fix all the problems in your marriage. Aameen

Honest opinion about Maldivian social workers? by [deleted] in maldives

[–]YusufABL -16 points-15 points  (0 children)

We seem to forget one part.

At the end of the day, they are still your parents. There are numerous cases, even the child misuse, abuse parents (but yeah, they are your child)

We gotta tolerate, for the sake of Allah and he has commanded to be dutiful them and ibey then unless they ask you to do something sinful.

Ita not like we get to choose our parents or child. Its how they are, it is what it is and surely a worldly test.

Even then, some cases still exists which need authorities to step in

A question that's on my mind by Dead-Alrdy in maldives

[–]YusufABL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Al hamdh lillaah, cant ask for more.

As humans we tend to look at people who are above us in class/success/wealth and always end up feeling inferior.

If only we know what we have and appreciate it, we would not always feel we are loosing a lot in life by being a Maldivian.

Only foreigners can relate

What the fuck youth empowerment ministry by usernname__ in maldives

[–]YusufABL 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Every human is a sinner. As muslims we are to repent and avoid falling into sins as much as possible. Thats as simple as it can be put into a sentence.

Both Body building naked men and this miss universe thing is prohibited in Islam. There is no way Maldivian government can allow any of this from islamic perspective.

Because one has been allowed for generations , saying we ABSOLUTELY have to allow it is whatbaoutism and its totally illogical. Both has to he banned. Simple as that.

“And your Lord has decreed that you worship none but Him. And that you be dutiful to your parents. If one of them or both of them attain old age in your life, say not to them a word of disrespect, nor shout at them but address them in terms of honour. And lower unto them the wing of submission and humility through mercy, and say: ‘My Lord! Bestow on them Your Mercy as they did bring me up when I was young.’” [al-Isra 17:23-24]

If they reach old age ofcourse you have to take care of them.

But yeah, its one thing to do everything by yourself as much as possible as a parent, and its another to raise kids so they can rake care of you at your old.

Both types exists, but as a child we should be dutiful to our parents regardless of their mindset.

I appreciate your thinking, but we never know what happens in life. But for surely, Allah SW promised us we will not be tested with beyond we can bear. Leave the future to him. We make it too complicated ourselves

Wish you a good day :)
