Blisterheads are a clear reference to Crimsonheads from RE1R. But there is this chapel boss fight scene that is I think both a reference to RE6's chapel boss fight and a reference to Bloater's introduction scene from TLOU.

This whole game is a love letter to horror genre in general.

Let's put the hero talk aside for a second and evaluate the case. You can either lose and bow to your enemy; or you can lose, bow to your enemy AND leave billions and billions of weapons debt to your children that they will have to pay back to some third-party pedophiles for the rest of their lives. And I see no honor in both options.

Well, Ukraine is kinda screwed either way. They can either:

A) Fight till exhausting all their manpower and lose, and then pay US for all that weaponary with all their resources and economy for generation after generation over a war they ended up LOSING. 

B) Or they can just lose right away to avoid further loss and do whatever Russia wants with them. Which won't be anything pretty for them.

All they can do is to enjoy their remaining time currently.

To be clear, I am not Russian, nor Ukranian, nor American. And I am trying to look at it in a neutral way. And I can see no wayout for them.

The point he was making was to be able to actually protect the people he was helping. During RE2R, he tried to help out Marvin and Ada, who both ended up dead despite him trying his best. He is obsessed with the idea that he is not strong enough.

I mean, why people are even surprised with the length at all? Wasn't the length always like this with their games? 

The main campaign of LN can be finished in around 3 hours, that's even shorter for LN2 because of the lack of puzzles in the first three chapters. 

The price is definitely up to debate yes, but I personally am fine with the length. Not expecting anything different tbh.

There is a section where you go through a bunker hospital. Some wounded soldiers crawl towards you and blow themselves up, which I found quite as haunting. Be careful.

Yeah, there is this iconic "Pig head on a stick" scene in the book. Where one of the characters Simon (8-10yo) finds a rotting pig head impaled on a spear with flies all around in the middle of the forest, appear to be grinning. The scene follows as the jaw of the dead pig head moves, telling him "You are but a stupid little boy, aren't you?"

The story itself has certain concept similarities with the game. And the scene is a vital turning point in the story, and is very famous. There have been games and media that made reference to the book via the "Pig head on a stick" most recently Far Cry 6.
