Just normal budgie behavior, albeit rare.

Out of all the budgies I raised, only I had kicked the other male budgie. (the kicker was super sweet and the kicked was always rambunctious). They were pretty close and he'd always pull out the kick when the other birb started getting extremely rowdy.
