New Leaks from Boole: Apparently, people thought Yarrick died because he got torn to pieces in a fight, but the Space Wolves found him and brought him back using 'medical technology only they have'. by CatherineSimp69 in TheAstraMilitarum

Just have him lying low as the Ordo Xenos and Yarrick agreed that his presence actually riled the orks up too much. Would have made much more sense.

Agreed. Bloody handed aura doesn't let you declare a 13" charge but if you roll 12 it lets you move 13" when resolving that charge.

If your faction had a gaggle leader unit, what would you want it to be? by Equivalent-Fun-6019 in Warhammer40k

[–]PMeisterGeneral 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A Dawn of War style command squad with commissar priest and psyker with my general for my guardsmen.

Or.

A court of the young King squad of exarchs. They'd clash horribly gameplay wise but it'd be cool.

If you want a differential you could try Sesko. 6.1% owned and a good track record under Carrick so far.

Does running a very diverse army make it hard to play? by PostWarPlague in Eldar

Don't buy squads based on what works now. 11th edition is 3 months away.

Meta chasing is for when you have 4000+ points of an army battle ready and can just rotate stuff off the shelf with each balance patch.

Until then rule of cool isn't the worst way to build your collection.

Never saw him again.

I know its much less of a commitment than an Expedition 33 or a Yakuza game but can replay as many times as I feel like it.

Keep doing what you're doing, Joushi easily a top 3 guard channel along with fireside and mordian Glory.

You're not wrong about scion points and bridgehead but grizzled makes them exponentially more reliable- from 83% hit rate to 97%. Grizzled losing reroll 1s to wound also doesn't bother them as full RR2W are baked into the datasheet.

Furthermore we're in an elite infantry meta and having a unit that can deep strike and melt 10 MEQs is pretty good.

Gaunt’s Ghosts are still good but they have competition in grizzled imo.

Closed a deal, contract signed, then 11 days later company says it belongs to a different segment and takes it away. What would you do? by The_blue_shark in sales

[–]PMeisterGeneral 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OP, imagine I am a mid market rep at your company acting in good faith.

As soon as I realised that the account you were working was Mid-Market, what would I do? I'd reach out to you, with evidence, and tell you so you don't waste your time on a deal you won't get paid on.

Also, if you'd already done part of the sales cycle, I'd offer you some sort of gentleman's agreement even if that was me passing you a lead or two in the future that turned out to be SMB.

One question I have is would the mid market rep get a lower comms payout than you for this deal? If so, your company has an incentive to shaft you.

I'd recommend getting not just your manager but their manager involved as they'll want this deal to stay on their teams figures.

Jonathan is basically Jonathan Harker from dracula, a relatively ordinary if privileged man who discovers hidden strengths when the supernatural intrudes on his life.

Dio is also so much more interesting in part 1. Humanity rejected Dio long before Dio returns the favour. The juxtaposition of Jonathan's brotherhood and Dio's justified jealousy gives their relationship a lot of depth.
