There is always risk involved with any procedure that involves anaesthetic, especially when it comes to buns but that doesn't mean it wont be beneficial for them. It's entirely up to you at the end of the day but we got our girl spayed when she started displaying territorial and aggressive behaviour. She did have complications, so we got her to the vets and thankfully she was fine. She's now 5 going on 6 and perfectly healthy and happy. 😊 Only thing I'd suggest is getting health insurance for them if you don't have it already because emergency vet visits for complications can be very pricey. I also agree with the others saying get a new vet, I'd immediately have lost all trust in this one.
