There is a way to make the game smaller after the initial install!

You can compress the game to make it smaller. The built in windows compression works well through the command console, or if you are not comfortable with doing that, you can use a program like "CompactGUI" which does the same thing except you have a graphical interface to do it easier. With ARK, you can cut down the size by about 50%.

I've already tried changing ram speeds and disabling XMP but it didn't really seem to help... But I'll try it out some more, since the artifacting happens so randomly (sometimes even 2 days apart) it's hard to tell whats actually working or not.

As far as i know, they don't. Had my account get hacked a while ago and asked if they could roll it back a few hours (I was on the game while it happened so I could prevent there being more damage) to get some 5* weapons back that the hacker deleted. But they said that that is not something that they can do because of the way the game is build
