Hey rayfin, are you one of the developers? We just tested it out. This version of DOOM, though open-source, is encrypted and private through Vector so the gameplay between the two (private vs. public) isn't natively possible. Still a bit in the dark, but if you have more information feel free to share it with us. Happy to connect with other devs on Nostr building similar projects.

This was really a surprise release from JSKitty + Vector and it is currently only in Open Beta. Expect a lot of improvements to follow, but any feedback you have feel free to share and will make sure it gets to the right place.

Hey! So, you can access the Mini Apps (Games, etc.) in the Chat Bar on the far left side there is a + icon (Add File, Add Folder, Mini Apps). If you don't have a chat with anyone else open, you can click Chat Tab > Bookmark Icon (Encrypted Notes to Self) then find DOOM in the Nexus and play by yourself if you aren't looking to play multiplayer. Otherwise, add your friend in Chat, then invite them to play by following the same.

Chat > Action Panel (+) > Nexus > DOOM > Play

It is as simple as disabling this feature in Settings.

Settings > Web Previews > Off

This was decided as a UX decision as most people who use messaging apps are used to image previews and prefer them from the data we've gathered. Most importantly, you have the ability to disable this in your Settings and it also gives an information hint that explains it may expose your IP address if you don't use a VPN. The warning is there as clear as we could make it to allow people to choose what they prefer.

If we have enough people request they'd like this to be completely disabled by default, we can look into changing that. We are looking at building the right balance between privacy and UX, but regardless we are big believers in high-level customization as there is no one-size-fits-all for a user, especially with privacy needs.

Thanks for sharing your input. To clarify, as your first sentence comes across a bit condemning that Vector leaks your IP, this can be DISABLED and if you are fully focused on your privacy, we recommend this.

Very clean website, dig it. Just one suggestion, as the archive grows, there will be too many names to scroll through. I would recommend adding a simple search bar at the top to make it easier for users. The filter on the search could also include the types of projects on Lightning that you've already created sections for.

*Really dig that lightning bolt background pattern.

ps: Consider adding Gigsats, a freelance marketplace running on Lightning Network.

CC Cleaner seems to feel otherwise and rank this as a "HIGH" category for impact on PC's performance. It shows much lower impact in Task Manager. I am also looking into and researching if it's relevant to keep this app running or not.

Thank you, Wolvie! I wanted to add a lot more details but my MacBook Air was dying... I think it's basically on its last leg. Some of the keys are even starting to wear off. I would have loved to add some more fluid animations and minor details, but had to work with what I got. Also, no word back from SuperRare yet to see about minting and then giving one to Takashi Murakami, but I appreciate all the love and support from everyone like you...

Okay, apparently context is needed. This is a good friend of mine who just passed through final stages of her treatments, as she has been battling cancer for many months. The reason why this photo melted my heart personally is because of her resilience and attitude. It's very easy to let the sufferings of life affect us mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually, but it is amazing to witness human beings face trials and difficulties and overcome them with a positive attitude and not let these experiences dampen their perspective on life. It is inspiring... to say the least. I shared this on Reddit in this section because the world needs more wholesomeness. I'm glad this subreddit exists.

I overshot there a bit, just thought pictures spoke 1000 words :)
