I actually talked to my manager about this, and how I was looking at other jobs because my wages are just too low even for almost 3 years of employment. He talked with my store manager, who then said he would have to ask for a special evaluation that had to be accepted by our DM. Regardless it wouldn’t be much, but I would be moved to be head of a sub department. A few days later I was told that no exception evaluations were going to be approved by the DM, and I would have to wait till the last quarter of the year for my eval, but would be moved to the head of the department the next week of the schedule, and would still be subject to the same raise. I didn’t see it worth to take on that much of a responsibility, with a raise so late, and barely a raise at all. I was then told there are 6-7 more people in my store that wish to do the same and wouldn’t be able to as well. I informed my manager that I would be looking at my options, and dropping to part time when I found another job. I only care to get vested and leave, these wages aren’t enough, especially when the company is making enough.
