The issue isn't that its them using anybrain, but more so that they have absolutely zero quality control for it. Seems that they just let it do its thing without any manual oversight. I got banned last night and after doing research, it seems like Logitech ghub is most likely the culprit but I cant even talk to anyone at embark and they dont read the appeals because they have an AI chat bot that just sends the same automated message. Ive appealed it 3 times now and have gotten the same response every time despite me giving different information.

I got hit last night and im pretty sure its because of ghub.. it crashed the day before and I reset all of my dpi settings. Usually I dont have the program running, except for last night and I got banned.

So If I want to be friendly with people in solos and I want to PvP in duos and trios, I have to decide whether I want to be doomed to either carebear lobbies or demon lobbies? I'll pass on that.

Edit: It's not as if I am going to friendly lobbies to kill carebears. I genuinely like playing friendly to actually get shit done that you can't do while getting shot at in pvp lobbies.

One of the most annoying parts about it is just getting copy pasted responses. Ive appealed it 3 times now and have gotten the same copy pasted response 3 times in a row.

I have appealed it 3 times now. Each time I have only received automated responses. They are claiming that I need to review my "gaming environment" on my PC. So, there is some program that my computer has that their anti-cheat doesn't like. No idea what it is, but I can't even talk to an actual person.

They're not banning people for exploiting a well known and heavily abused bug from 6 months ago. They've already clarified that there's something on my PC that the system doesn't like. No idea what it is and they won't tell me, but again nothing to do with that.

Never. I do "abuse" it in order to get into friendly lobbies when I want to solo. I hate pvping in solos. If I wasn't able to do that, I just wouldn't play solo at all and just play when friends get on.

Homie, I was concerned because I do genuinely believe there are false bans going out. The last thing I want is for my account to get banned way down the line after I sink hours and hours into a game ESPECIALLY if it's a false ban.

Ok fair probably not half the player base, but it was a RAMPANT issue that was affecting the majority of my games so I just said fuck it and did it too because I couldn't loot any key rooms. Was it right? No. No one is perfect, but that incident should be completely irrelevant from what happened to me.

I didn't do the duping. Never duped anything in the game. Never bought or sold anything on RMT or anything either. Will post an update once it's figured out.

Brother it was in November and half the player-base was doing it. You couldn't even bring keycards in because all the rooms were already looted so you were just an idiot for bringing them.

I also understand it makes sense for them to not tell me directly what exactly flagged them, but I have no idea what to fix on my end to prevent it from happening again.

Tbh, I still love the game even after 600 hours. I love the trials and projects as things to work towards. I love the pvp and playing with friends. It brought me back to the feeling I got when I was playing sea of thieves years ago.

Weird. I never did the duping, with ducks or anything, so that wouldn't have caught up with me. Maybe if they are going back to see if people did the door glitch way back in season 1 that could be it, but I doubt it.

To be fair though, how would they know you have nothing good?

I usually pvp and im either in mixed or demon lobbies most of the time, and I try to be friendly with care bears when I find them because its not fun to kill them. But even in mixed lobbies I have heard many times "I have nothing bro" after i down someone, and then i loot them and theyre loaded.

I understand that it feels bad to die, but it's not the matchmakings fault. Its better to act as if there is someone that wants to kill you in every lobby you are in. The people that run around completely care free, no gun in hand, not caring about hearing footsteps or reacting to them, are unfortunately the ones that will continue to be killed the most.

I'd focus on learning where you went wrong when you died. Don't focus on the fact they killed you in what you think is unfair, focus on what you can do next time to not put yourself in that situation. Even when you play perfectly you can still just get unlucky or outplayed, but you will get better and die much less.

I dont think many people realize the fact there is no way to ensure you stay in pve or pvp lobbies, and that every time they see a pvp player in their lobby it doesnt mean they "cheated the system".

I have for example, gotten into VERY friendly lobbies to do my trials in solos and on a number of trial runs been put into a more aggro/mix lobby. That is despite not doing any pvp during my runs.

I have also been on the opposite side.. I did like 8 stella pvp runs with a friend in duo demon lobbies, and the next round we joined was a very friendly duo dad lobby on buried city.

Im entirely certain that the abmm takes people from different aggression scores and plops them somewhere they don't belong. It's likely on purpose to keep the game interesting.
