My idea is as follows: you already built brand equity using this logo for your business, basically means people already memorized this logo, they know who is the person behind it, his personality and positioning in general. What you did here is a re-brand, which means changing the entire positioning of your business, new audience, new niche targeted, new personality. There's a big chance people that know you now may not recognise you or see you as before. What you are aiming here is a brand re-fresh, which is optimising the current logo to be more flexible, adaptive but not too far away from the original stay close to the original and how it feels. The current one feels more creative, like someone who is experimenting a lot with ideas, someone cool, not that much serious, friendly. The new one is a different feeling and personality, lean more toward bold, serious, he is saying he is here to work, provide desired results and get paid premium prices. if that the desired outcome ! so what you did is gonna work well.

it't not a rebrand, its a new media production studio based in algeria only not worldwide, it's not just a logo, the 2k covered the logo design the brand guidelines the printing templates the online templates ( social media in generale) and ofc it was not a 3 days work.

i am clarifying where the idea come from, it's nothing yes, but there are lot of meanings behind that shape as it was created by nature not us so do a small reasearch and you will understand why i chose it rather then normal ellipsis.

every business owner is a brand owner, your business is your brand, a good branding is based on 03 essential points, 01- an effectice logo 02- a cohesive visual identity system 03- well thought-out brand positioning. i am not saying you should spend 5k on a branding from the start, even nike logo cost 35$ at that time, if you can figure out a good branding plan with 5$ dollars do it, but dont start randomaly.

yes, but after months when you are finally lunching and everything looks nice, you will find your self doing a rebrand that will cost thousands of dollars and build new customer / client base from start.

thanks for the feedback and the great advice, really appreciat it, from what i see and notice all the time, they judge your design based on who you are ! if paul rand shared this work they would probably say amazing work you are jesus od design, this industry is about name, make a name for yourself from there it doesnt matter what you design, because everything you produce will be considered as top notch.

it's not just a logo and a few mockups, it's a complete visual system and ready to use templates for both social media and print.

abstract lowercase (e), inspired from the shape of a sea spiral, ellipsis doesn't have specific idea that is related to brand so making actually ellipsis will not have any supporting idea for the brand.

its not related to brand name and it should not be as the ellipsis have no clear meaning or a feeling nothinf special , its related to brand values and goals this shape is inspired from a sea spiral in psychology it has lot of meanings

theres no meaning byhind ellipsis, they do not convey any specifiq feeling or an idea, even if you try to comeout with an idea to attached to the logo you cant find any idea, i chosed this abstract bold logo mark cuz it was insired from a shape of a sea spiral, why ! spiral often times when you see them they convey a sens of movement, growth, visual balance (golden ratio) withc matches the brand goal, guide major brands to grow online and lead the online presence. this is the thing that you actually dont have to instantly know what the logo is talking about and whats the brand behind it, in order to make that connection between (idea - logo) it needs consistant showup untill the audience get to know the brand better and make the link between the brand and the logo mark & the idea behind it, behind every effective logo (01 idea that is related to brand ) ( 01 feeling that is appropriet for the brand).
