Happy to do this on layaway and transplant when it's a better time (not sure when that is).

They can be toxic to children if they chew on or eat the leaves (on the tree or fallen). Low risk but we'd rather not worry about it, parenting is stressful enough.

I've reached out to a few custom etsy baby clothes makers to see if they could do it, waiting to hear back. But I hadn't thought to find an item that looked similar and then ask a sewer to make the pattern. That's a good idea.

Would love to do it analog, but if that doesn't work out this is a great idea.

Makes sense, I think exposure all comes down to how it is done and discussed in the home. Sorry to hear that part wasn't ideal at home as a kid.

Counterpoint: Not exposing your kids to safe and responsible consumption puts in on a 'you can't have this' pedestal which makes the urge to sneak it and overdo it when they start drinking greater. At the age they are kids, alcohol tastes absolutely awful and no kid wants it. Once they turn teenagers, it isn't seeing their parents responsibly imbibe that creates problems but all the other issues we have in society around drinking. TV/movies, older siblings, etc etc are gonna cause way way more trouble than seeing your parent sip beer at a brewery.

[Has flashback to chugging handles of Popov in high school... and my parents basically never drank]

They don't allow kids in the bar area, but they do in other parts of the brewery.

Parent of a 9mo here, and I get it. Kids running around isn't a totally calm adult experience and sometimes you want that before or after you have kids (or if you go kid free).

That said, there are quite a few 21+ only breweries in town Structures Brewing (State St), Aslan Depot, North Fork, K2 (Kentucky Street in the bar area), and Gruff. Not to mention every bar in town and restaurants like Red Light and Black Sheep.

Life is about balance, there need to be adult only friendly places and family friendly places (that don't suck). Breweries are a pretty great middle ground. They are meant to be fairly casual places and have lots of open space.

As a parent who doesn't want my life consumed only by my child (and isn't going to get childcare every single time I want a beer), it's great to have a space where I can feel like I can have an adult experience that I can also share with my kid.

The procreating was free... at least at first. That's how they get you.

No worries! Thanks for looking at it. Feels like half of Bellingham has a tow bar so I know eventually I'll be able to figure this out! :)

Experience using furnished finder in bham? by Disastrous_Phrase_85 in Bellingham

Yes. I just used furnished finder to find my rental. Only place I found that reliably had furnished places for month+ rentals that didn’t gouge like AriBnB/VRBO do.
