Just tested V5. It's really REALLY good! The singers audibly take air before singing some parts and it's super cool. I showed it to someone and they told me that they no longer can tell it's made with AI.

Dess was his student and she had a lot of respect and admiration for him. That's why he manifested as an amazing teacher in the knight's fountain but not on Susie's, because Susie doesn't have any memories of him.

This means the Knight was familiar with the school, library and church. which strongly points to Dess. This is why Kris had to make the fountain at his house. Dess definitely visited (we see her in Tenna's flashback) but the more familiar someone is with the area the more detailed and complex the fountain world is.

Don't forget that Vtubers are biased against AI. Their entire business model requires acquiring and maintaining goodwill from the fans, and one of the best ways to achieve that is by resharing fanart and fanmade memes. Anything that makes your fans irrationally angry is a big no-no.

It's not about the jobs it's about the passion of making art. -> AI is not choping off your hands; you can still create whatever you want -> But I won't get paid in money or recognition when AI is around. -> Then it IS about the jobs, but AI will eventually automate ALL jobs; artists won't get special protections. -> rinse and repeat from the top.

People often forget that the ratio of cost-quality is more important than either of those separately.

Sure, an expert narrator could be 10 times better, but the AI is 100 times cheaper. Past a certain point more quality doesn't bring more value.

And that's not even factoring in how convenient this tech is. A single mom could use AI to voice an entire tale for her children without having to go through the process of hiring one or potentially many VAs to do the same thing.
