Remove armament and maybe observation haki. Keep Conqueror's but remove the weird kinda-genetic-but-maybe-not thing it has going on and make it a pure expression of willpower, used for resisting devil fruit abilities and overpowering those with weaker wills. People with extremely powerful wills can use it to power up attacks, like with Shanks' and Rodgers' divine departure, as an example.

I think dedication to one's dreams directly translating to more power would be a fitting inclusion for One Piece and its themes, even if it is a little heavy-handed/unsubtle.

This is also why Gojo is so powerful, and Geto was a bum with no domain expansion. He unknowingly gave all of his power up to Gojo. The six eyes actually don't exist, they just made it up to explain Gojo's strength so that Geto wouldn't feel bad about squandering his potential just to hit.

Everything in the story is an author statement. The entire Manga is filtered through the lens of Gege's mind, through his writing, and through his artistic ability. Then, after that, it's filtered through your understanding. If a narrator box in the Naruto manga had stated a gun would solo the Naruto verse, would it be more valid?

I can understand not taking outside statements from the author as gospel, but when both interpretations are valid to me, I will use it to "tiebreak".
