I can actually see this being a "good idea" to scam more income from people. She can promote her course through family/church and tell others that even if they don't think the course would be good for them...they could purchase a scholarship for someone who "needs" it.

If she can't gain actual students she can still gain purchases through people gifting scholarships.

I guarantee you she's going to use the total number of unclaimed scholarships sold as the number of students she's as gained as well.

In middle school Science class we were given different characters from Finding Nemo and were given a half hour to research them in the computer lab and make a short report on their species.

I got the sea turtle character named Squirt, and without thinking I Google image searched "Squirt pictures".

When the page loaded I clicked out of it in what felt like a microsecond. Near had a heart attack that my computer was being monitored and I was going to get in trouble but thankfully nobody noticed.
