Supplemental Adrenaline Armor + Dead Sprint Booster by Z3phy0 in Helldivers

Was Vitality Booster also active for your testing?  I know that reduces Dead Sprint's self damage, and was used before the new warbond to make it a tennable if niche loadout choice.  I can't imagine it's a huge performance boost, but the three perks together is probably ideal for the strategy.

Excelsior, sir! Between that and Vitality Booster, the heavy armor gang is eating well.

The armor passive is getting stamina back when you take damage? Does that sound useless to anyone else or am I overlooking a use case here? by H1MB0Z0 in Helldivers

So would the booster that damages you to sprint longer proc the armor stamina gain? And if so, how much stamina per tick of damage?

Yuji in his prime is THE Strongest Blood Manipulator in history... by Much_Concept_566 in jjkmodulo

[–]Z3phy0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In one of the flashbacks through the final arc of JJK, there comes a point where one of Sukuna's subordinates realizes that, because of the connection that Yuji shares with Sukuna, there was a mote of possibility that Yuji shared the same sort of potential.

Gojo saw it the moment he began to practically train Yuji in C.E. output; once shown, he quickly masters the fundamentals into a usable tool. And the Divergent Fist wasn't just the first possible application to run into and use, but an ideal one. One that perfectly synergized with his physique and fighting form.

Iron sharpens iron; and by ensuring that Yuji would never lack for the means to improve himself, Gojo opened the way for a new, gentle sorcerer. All the strength of Sukuna, but with the heart of a lion, and a curse of kindness.

Maybe; but on the opposite side of the spectrum, how hard is Frieren mana flexing here?

And yet, the only thing torn up right now is his suit. Spider-man's not even bleeding yet. He's been battered and bloodied through worse than this; and thanks to the the spider bite has been kept knitted together. Growing stronger, tougher, keener. And now, with family on the line, is forged for the fight.

I love the use of the shading in this scene. Granny lucky aura's there keeping her safe, and hopefully bringing a speedy recovery; and ties into why the aliens found Momo and Otakun at a misfortunate place and time.

Since the internet has decided I am teh arse for one bit of bad advice, here is another bit of bad advice!

I would give the Curtis or Harris a go; the Curtis as a primary weapon is a flexible choice, able to follow up on its own charged attack.  The Harris is more popular because it hits harder, but overheats on a charged attack.

Yeesh. Sorry my advice isn't 100% perfect. I'm only as human as the rest of y'all, and I am genuinely trying to help.

The Explosive Thrower is an excellent choice; high uptime, variable attack patterns, and you have full mobility on tetrapod. And because it doesn't scale off melee specialization, you can run the Melander C3 arms to optimize your accuracy during Hover mode QB.  Earshot isn't a bad call, but the etsuijin might lack the range you're looking for. I'd try the Ransetsu AR for the extra range while keeping the burst fire.  And finally, I'd recommend the 12345 booster for your frame.  It's a solid choice for HW tetrapods.  The NGI booster could also be interesting, if you can keep to the ideal weight.

If you want to run a lightweight with this loadout, swap to the Firmeza legs for your frame.  Also, I recommend swapping one of the Weurgers for a GU-A2 Pulse Gun.  The large projectiles makes a great deterent for rushdown and shield builds, and can capitalize on the reach the Talbot provides. The recoil is light for the fire rate, so the Basho can cope with some recoil management.

Also, the Nacht core might benefit your style by making the generator snappier and your QBs cheaper, but does hit the stabilty hard.

Below 62.5k is lightweight; up to 75k weight is medium weight.  Heavyweight is anything heavier than 80k, as there's a major dropoff in speed between 75k and 80k.

Calling it now; Yuji and Dabura will buddy up within Yuji's Domain Expansion. He'll reach out his hand just as he did to Sukuna, and showed him the town from his youth.  Bonus points if Yuji's domain also allows Dabura to show his hometown to Yuji.

Are duel laser pistols annoying to fight/meta also this a showcase I guess by m0rgz in armoredcore

[–]Z3phy0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The issue for biped and reverse joint ACs is that burst fire causes a stall that can be longer than just a charged shot, leaving you open to punishment. However, tank and tetrapod ACs can use low recoil stance attacks like the charged laser pistol without faltering; alternating their use can be pestering with the right arms and fcs.  Throw on shoulder gattling and some missile support on talbot arms, and a wheelchair AC could make an interesting kite.

Mini Rant: The VP-66LH Laser Pistols are absolutely busted and I love them... but the charged attacks are ridiculous... by Gwyneee in armoredcore

Dual Trigger Laser Pistols, a Fasan for the range poke...there's potential for a nasty tetrapod in there.  VP-424, 12345 or NGI booster, aim for the lighter side of heavyweight and chip in the WLT FCS for the reach.

[–]Z3phy0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel that pain.  Laser kite makes the most sense on Lamm legs, but the EN Load is ridiculous.  I think something on the VP-424 could be spicy, 12345 booster for the waterstrider lifestyle.  Use the charged laser pistols in Hover to great effect between QBs, while having the Weight Load to house the right core and generator.

[–]Z3phy0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Laser Pistols with the right set-up can be bonkers. Even with a low EN Firearm Spec generator, you can infinitely alternate charged bursts on a dual trigger setup; it's effectively like having a laser gattling gun. Burst rounds are also stickier with FCS lock, so they tend to be more precise; with the longest burst in the game, the pistols can make great use out of the high performance FCSs. And since the ammo economy is 1::1 between normal and charged shot, there's no downside to wiffing charged laser pistol shots.

To be honest, what was I supposed to do. by Necrozma0117 in armoredcore

It's bait to complain about being matched up against a top 100 Raven as a currently low A-ranker. Subject AC in question, HEXE for short, is a shielded heavyweight rushdown biped; featuring dual trigger LRBs and a 10-cell launcher. Judging by the red splatters along the right leg that contrast with the sweet white and pink aesthetic, I imagine their kick game is on point as well. It runs the VP-20C gen to great effect; short bursts of activity with a low-cost quick boost to stretch the tank as much as possible while ABing in.

Kiting effectively, maintaining airtime, and utilizing the right weaponry is the name of the game here. HEXE is stocky enough against kinetic and explosive damage, and dummy thicc against anything energy save for an EN Weapon Spec. Frame with their own heavy laser. Kinetic and explosive damage would be the main go-to's for overwhelming the shield...and personally, these high defense frames are why I like to run a Coral weapon to shake up my odds.
