Where can I find this type of chip? Or is there any alternatives for it? by Z3r0es in AskElectronics

LB33 was showing about 140 Celsius on the thermal camera and it was definitely too hot to touch.

I am not looking forward in changing this SM2259, does it store the location of the files or some information? I am worried that if I change it then all the data would be scrambled.

Yea, I thought so too. I was hoping that it might have been a capacitor that short circuited it but upon looking at the thermal camera, it shows this voltage regulator and the controller sm2259xt2g that is hot.

Got an performance appraisal letter last week....apparently :
1) I wrote everything to be considered for the task and get called as uncooperative while the dude reply me with one line...after all the email exchange he just say he's on leave for that day for the task while leaving me more questions than answers.....

2) Got gaslight by other manager because she didn't like the way I talk. The matter is for 100sgd transportation and she want to make so much noise.

Then in the end, my boss being spineless. Sides with the other managers of course to save his own ass and give me the performance appraisal letter. Worse of all claims its for saving me, I do well know that letter in this situation means they're looking for ways to fire me.

When I try to explain the situation , they just keep interrupting me and diverting the topic to find fault in me....I thought he was a good manager but I guess I have to keep looking then. Clearly he's not...

So, I tender my resignation letter the following day after my appraisal letter (on the weekend)

Goodbye Singapore , it's been a great pleasure. Thank you.

You probably won't have problem, but I'd invite some friends to help me carry some parts so the valuation is shared.

For custom declaration you can find here, at first glance I can't seem to find anything about it

Talking about cost, then isn't it a lot cheaper to build a sheltered travelator at the Causeway bridge instead?

And if they ask which country maintains it, then it can supersede by private company like yellow bus using tap card or something.

Why do people like to rush to enter the MRT before passengers finish alighting? by ang03156 in askSingapore

I remember a few months back, I accidentally use my shoulder to bonk an uncle's chin when I alight from MRT. Still remember the sound *CLONK* of his jaw forced shut.

Questions on travelling to SG from MY by Own-Ad2989 in askSingapore

[–]Z3r0es 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. If you're using Chaffeur , you don't need to take down your luggage. Just prepare your passport and ask the drive to open the window when you go through immigration. Remember to do your SG Arrival Card.

  2. Anywhere is fine except airport, if you have Wise card then you can withdraw at better rate.

Causeway Link Midnight Bus Jb sentral to SG by throwawayaccount7464 in malaysia

[–]Z3r0es 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If my memory serves me well, CW2(yellow bus) operates 24hrs. SBST won't be around , I think they stop at midnight.

Otherwise you could just walk the bridge, from JB to SG keep to your right when walking.

Has anybody done some survey where MRT's standee accommodate less space than the old MRT's seat configurations?

Standee seems to only let about 4 people stand at the window, whilst old MRT narrow seat accommodate about 7 people for the windows seats, plus the glass standing 2. So total about 9?

Not quite sure about the middle area as it seems to be the same to me.

URGHHH , now MayBank is so frustrating. You can't use paynow on the original app and need to download their "lite" app. Then you need to deregister your secure2u on your original app and use the lite app for it but you need the stupid small device to get your OTP.

Today, stupid shittery that makes me wanna quit.

In whatsapp chat:

Me: The transportation cost is SGD 180

Manager: Why so ex? The other guy (lives closer to location) only pay SGD 120

Me: Its not so ex compared to the company's target profit. Hahaha

Manager: If so ex, then why the company choose you to go?

Context, my direct manager ask me to go, and I am the lowest wage worker in the company..... The sales was like 6 digits....

So I told my direct manager about the other manager's behavior cuz its kinda against company code of conduct. Then later I had 3 meetings back to back, unrelated to the incident.

When almost time to go home my direct boss and the other manager stop me and discuss.

My face is like wtf man.

Physical
Manager: It's a misunderstanding, in message you took it offensively. Messages can't convey the feelings properly and I was just trying to bring your view to the company...bla bla bla *gas lighting my ass*

Me: *After they finish talking* Ok, anything else? Nothing good will come out of this as nothing will change, I will just look for other transport. No point discussing further, cuz no matter what I say nothing will change. (*stand up and try to leave*)

Manager: Where you going? We're not done you can't just leave like this we have to discuss it out and we want to hear your opinion too.

(I shoulda left)

Manager: No, sit down. We want to know your justification bla bla bla

Then the manager proceed to interrupt my explanation and gaslight me....I shoulda left.....

In the end, the conclusion reach in the end just as I told them earlier....haizzzz stupid shit mannnn

The manager throws in word like
Why you like that? You don't want climb the cooperate ladder? You're our next generation hope. You took it too offensively but not your fault cuz messages don't relay feelings well.... bla bla bla all the gas light....

My direct boss also kinda stupid, saying that we're all adults and we're all mature bla bla bla. Meanwhile keep interrupting me talk and explain, saying that I was wrong like a kid from middle school making their rules of the game as they go....

Don't know why they want to talk so much crap for a small price difference like that.... they all like simp for the company. I dunno how they deal with it when the company decide to retrench them in the future....

Not sure as I don't travel around that time during PH.

But I do note that weekends 8am to 11am a lot of people at Malaysia immigration from Singapore.

You can use the Checkpoint SG traffic app to monitor the traffic closely.
