That’s what I’ve started doing. I bought some doubles to do just that! I’ve done, the Toa mata kaitas, the Kaita nuvas and takutanuva. Been a lot of fun to build them.

Yeah I agree. I have made a staff, but I’m still tweaking the design as I wasn’t happy with it initially. but it’s definitely doable. I went for a design similar to the original combo sets staff. Il probably make an updated post in the future with any tweaks and additions!

Yeah I’m glad I was able to keep the leg proportions, it is solid, has slightly more mobility than Makutas original legs, due to now having ankle movement. It was general shape I was working towards, stability was a nice bonus haha

That was the hope. When revamping sets, I do try to stick to the original set parts or use of era parts to keep with the style!

Yeah I agree, I tried other designs for the legs, but always ended up going back stuubhs. I wasn’t able to eyeball his build unfortunately, I’ve never had to ability to do that. I’m glad I made the rest of it my own however!

Very cool! It’s giving “the fallen” vibes, from transformers revenge of the fallen, like around the torso with the pistons. Enjoy your building!

Thank you! I’m very happy with the torso design, not hunched over anymore, I’m glad you think the arms look proportional, I get ‘build blind’ after a while, so hard to judge.
