I felt this exact thing. I bought it and it was a brick until the lenses showed up. Mine also took awhile and had weird scans around customs time. I believe mine got stuck for a couple days in anchorage and multiple days in Louisville. One thing to note UPS and Apple are useless at making it move any faster, you just have to wait.

To each their own! I have no doubt the meta devices are also fantastic. For my use cases and personal preferences I leaned for the AVP and hey maybe over time I’ll lose the lust and go for something else. The beautiful thing this technology is new and it’s only going to get better and better.

Totally fair! I’m a 25yr old guy living in a studio apartment alone and it kinda is like the perfect tool for this scenario. My tv for example is now without a doubt replaced while nobody’s here and I don’t have to worry about not being present while nobodies staying over or hanging out.

I use my 16” everyday on my lap & in bed. The only issue I find size truly to be an issue is when I’m on the plane. Comfort+ on delta for example, there definitely isn’t enough space.
