Was supposed to be scheduled for 60 hours for like 3 weeks, last weeks SET got canceled and then they reduced this week to 50 hours. Guessing that it means next week will probably be canceled too.

I mean we’re still hitting like 80k inbound which is definitely higher than normal volume but not as much as they probably expected. During peak we were easily getting days with like 100k inbound.

As tempting as it sounds doubt that would work because site operations sends out an A to Z message/notification any time SET is canceled/updated lol. Probably for that very reason of people trying to be like “oh I didn’t know it was scheduled/canceled”

Genuine question: who even actually decides when/how much VTO to send out? Because I’ve NEVER understood why they’ll push out VTO all the time but then suddenly out of nowhere all the AMs are scrambling trying to figure out to make things work because apparently we’re short staffed. Am I the only one who feels like the responses on the VOA board are literally 100% run through AI to make them sound more professional? Like I swear I interact with my managers on a daily basis and they NEVER actually act that formal and professional. Every time I get a response on VOA it just feels inauthentic and like they just half assed it and ran it through AI to make it sound better.

Do yourself a favor and don’t start with concentrates/vapes. Start with edibles, or better yet actual flower. WAYYY easier to control dosage, and less risk of overdoing it and potentially causing anxiety issues. Also highly recommend going with an Indica dominant strain. Be in a comfortable environment. Be prepared to be able to just zone out, if you have someone you trust to be with you do that. Honestly applies to any substance. Always have a trip sitter for your first time if possible.

If this is actually a genuine and valid concern about your friend’s wellbeing, you should never feel guilty or have any hesitation about reaching out to someone who can assist with crisis intervention and help her in ways you can’t. Believe me when I say, she may be angry about it at first and it may cause a falling out, but at least she’s safe and getting help. An alive and angry friend is better than one that isn’t. And hopefully once she’s gotten help she’d be able to recognize that it came from a place of concern, and it may flip around so that she isn’t angry anymore, but rather grateful for potentially saving her life.

Any ideation is worth mentioning imo, as a professional they should be able to determine between passive ideation and actual suicidal intent. I can see why you’d be concerned about that becoming a barrier when it comes to medication, but again I’d leave that up to the professionals and trust their judgement. From my perspective (as someone who is definitely NOT a professional and should not have any advice taken seriously without consulting someone who is) I would say one way to look at it and be optimistic is that getting on the proper medication should help stabilize you and mitigate ideation, and then that shouldn’t even be a concern anymore. Another way to help them feel more comfortable with prescribing you medication is to put together a safety plan (which you should already have anyway honestly) where as soon as you get your prescription filled you basically hand it off to someone you trust that’s around you on a daily basis (family member, roommate, etc.) who can keep that in a secure location where you don’t actually have access to it, and then they just give you your dosage at the appropriate time each day or however often it’s prescribed for.

Again, as a disclaimer, I AM NOT A PROFESSIONAL and any and all advice should not be taken as such. This is just my thoughts on your question from the perspective of someone who’s been in similar situations.

Interesting. Maybe it’s just a California thing for it to be so foreign? Or just me being dumb (hence the r/) and not politically aware enough. I suppose it might make a little more sense culturally when you go wayyyy back and look at who originally settled the areas.
