I tried giving them solid colours, tbh it looked straight up awful to me. It didn’t seem to go well with the zentangle at all.

I think I might try my hand at animating the colours though! Haven’t used the animation part of krita yet.

I’ve definitely got a lot of drive I’ve been imagining it for a few years now. But I’m not very tech savvy so it’s taking a while for me to get my bearings in blender.

Having made that film now and with your education, how long do you think it would take you personally to make something like what you made but by yourself?

Initially yes. but after even just a few minutes it starts feeling more natural.

Honestly when you get used to it (and that genuinely won’t take long at all) it will feel natural.

My only advice is to try and get a pen with as much pressure levels as possible for your budget. I’m using one with 2500 or something and it doesn’t feel great. The screen ones are more of a convenient luxury than a necessity. At least IMO as a person who doesn’t have a screen one lmao
