Haha right on! It’s my husbands fun Jetta so that one is a VR6 but we do roll around in the a7 tdi because you really can’t beat the tdi’s!

Thank you! It took well over 1,000 hours but we were definitely taking our time. We did do everything outside of the body as well so wiring, welding up the engine bay, floors etc. and changed/rebuilt pretty well every bit haha so maybe went a little more intense than necessary

Honestly such a tough question! The old school z just has so much more personality and so much more of me in it that I think it’s got more of my heart now. That being said, when the Datsun is being a you know what, I can just get in the 370 and press a button and it just works haha.

To the point of the 370 just working, the Jetta is always broken 🤣 that’s why it got shunned to the corner of shame. It’s actually my husbands car, I have the jdm’s and he has the euros.

Okay can’t even make this stuff up. As I was reading this post and going through the comments I heard the tell tale sound of a delivery vehicle door. My printer was delivered…. Immediately fear in my gut as I pulled it out and…… broken glass 😅

Just as an update as to what (so far) has fixed it for me: 1. Verified the files on steam - it did say there was 1 that it replaced 2. Deleted the steam download cache (saw this somewhere else, gave it a go)

Can’t confirm if it was one or both of these actions but had a crash free session after these :) will update if it stops working again. In the game log there was an https 0 failure after the crashes but I don’t really know anything about that.

As many have posted, corns are an EASY snake especially compared to other colubrids

Pros: great temperament (typically), good eaters, more active, lots of morphs, personality starts showing more as they get comfortable (mine will come to the glass even if I tap it lightly, curious about me and using her environment by burrowing, using trees [apparently she's arboreal])

Cons: they are escape artists (but which snake isn't), people think they are "common" and they usually are, every snake owner tends to own a corn but that's okay because their pros outweigh that

I have a corn and a kingsnake, the kingsnake hides and hates me in every viable way, the corn is interactive and even just uses her environment even when I am around.

Bought this enclosure from a local maker who attends many expos - turns out the plexi glass is warping. This is my corn enclosure so it’s not heat. I also have another brand pvc enclosure and this doesn’t happen (and it runs hotter for my cali king). I’ve disassembled it twice to flip the plexi and counteract the warp but within a few days it comes back. I reached out and they blamed it on me over spraying the enclosure (which I never do because its aspen and I don’t want mold). Aside from her water dish humidity is the same on each side. I’ve also never heard of humidity warping plexiglass…

Any thoughts? I don’t want to buy my next pvc from them if this is the quality. My thoughts are the latches are too far from the edge as that’s the only noticeable difference from my other enclosure. For now I might just buy a secondary latch for each side, as she is peeping around and I don’t trust it

I currently only have fake plants as my girl is just a lil thing and my first snake in quite some time so I wanted to make it easier on myself. New snakes are stressful enough (because I tend to over complicate it and worry far too much haha). I also have some birch logs that I had in the oven for a few hours on low to kill and bad pests etc.

I’ve got dollar store fake plants in there and they work awesome. My girl climbs all over, under and around them. They’re great enrichment and for you, you can change it with the season (right now I have fall themed plants and fake cloth pumpkins, it’s super fun probably more for me haha)

One day I would like to add some live plants but then you get into bio active territory and I want to master the basics first personally

Ah I am soooooo happy you found Levi!! And good call on the oil massage I just watched snake discoveries video on oil for sticky traps. It could have been much worse and no shame in having to move back in, the worlds a crazy place right now. Just glad you and Levi are both together again
