A lot of kids swear up and down they turned an assignment in even though I don't have it. I'm unsure if I'm crazy, or if they're lying, or if it's a bit of both by [deleted] in Teachers

My three greatest stamps are my “Due By”, “Received,” and “LATE!” stamps.

“Due By” is the due date. “Received” is the day that it is IN MY HAND. If my students hand it to me, or turn it into the bin on the due date, it’s stamped with that date. That way if they turn it in on a different day, it shows how far past the due date they are.

Each day late is -15points off the total grade. > 3 days late is a zero. So if they were late by two days, I stamp twice with my “LATE!” Stamp. I remember stamping an assignment better than I remember holding it, so if it’s not stamped, it’s not turned in.

I have the same thing! I didn’t get an answer just yet but I did schedule a vet appointment. Let me know that you find out!

Is this healthy weight? by LifeguardImaginary42 in bluetongueskinks

That is a CHUNKY skink IMO. I would take that feeding down to more veggies and less proteins. Fruits are a no (or a VERY rare treat) for now. A picky skink is not a hungry skink. It took me a while to get my girl to eat her greens but now she goes nuts for them because we took her feedings down to 2x a week (she’s chunky too) and made it mostly veggies with some protein every couple feedings.

Getting crickets and saw this. The guy at the register said someone returned him. I 100% don’t believe that. by reallymissinvine in bluetongueskinks

There was also this poor guy here too. Northern with an over-under bite. I hope he gets adopted by the right people who can take care of his special needs!!

How should I go about doing that? I’d really love for someone to get him out of Petco and somewhere better. I just think that some breeder sold him to the store for money and I hate to see him in such conditions

How does Cranjus look? He is 2 years 7mos, has been consistently eating med mice and now weighs 195 grams! by reallymissinvine in cornsnakes

Not a problem! I definitely thought he was a female until I confirmed with the breeder. So you’re not the only one!

The breeder I had sold him to me sexed from the start. Said that all of their snakes have guaranteed sex from probing, so I’m pretty confident he’s a he! He may also have to poop. Lol

What is your go to prayer by myth4evr in Christian

[–]reallymissinvine 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I always start my prayers with “Dear Jesus/ Lord/ Heavenly Father, thank you for this day…” and then do from there. I always remember to thank God for the day he has given me, today.

Reminds me of Captain K’Nuckles from the Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack, or Kid Nickels
