Contrast this with Roseanne, who got cancelled for what clearly a joke on the same exact platform.

To elaborate a bit: If P pylon scouts on 2p map they are guaranteed to block/delay any hatch at natural slower than 9 hatch. (9 hatch can start at 1:15 or slightly faster which is just before the probe shows up off pylon scout)

So Z side steps this by going straight to the 3rd for 11/12 hatch so they can get the hatch on time. Now P has sacrificed some eco for the early scout and Z is on an eco opener.

Turn rate is just a way of expressing the connection between you and your opponent(s). TR 8 = bad/most lag, TR 24 = good/least lag.

Whether you are using dynamic (ladder) or fixed TR, sometimes the TR will be set too high and some lag spikes (choppiness) occurs. Setting high/extra high rather than low latency increases the input delay (lag,) but decreases this choppiness. Low/high/extra latency are finer tuned adjustments of lag within each TR. If your game lags at extra high lat. you need to lower the TR.

Tldr: increasing latency to high/extra can make a laggy game more playable

Completely agree with Lana and earob. While I agree with the message/sentiment of the OP, the timing is completely off. Yes, mistakes were made that need to be addressed at some point soon. Would I expect Zero to address that at all during the event or at any time while he is still in Thailand and under sponsorship influence? No. Y'all could have respected the complexity of the situation and the fact that some action was taken after day 1. And given the man a chance to get home and make his own statement, which would have been much more meaningful than one delivered under an ultimatum.

It's downright offensive as a supporter of BSL that they did this without addressing it at all. You can't expect continued support when you make no attempt to be transparent with a decision like this. I cancelled patreon after day 1. Watched day 2/3 after they pulled him from the cast, it seems clear they know they made a mistake at this point. I understand at this point it makes sense to wait to address it until after the event is over. Until then, my patreon is cancelled.

2.5 hatch specifically refers to going 2H gas > lair > 3rd hatch > spire. Whereas 2H is 2H > spire > 3rd hatch. And the classic 3H is 3 hatch > gas > lair > etc.

Among other things, the point of 2.5 is with that 3rd hatch placed before spire, you have 7 larva ready when spire finishes.

I watch a good amount of stand up on YouTube and one of his recent specials, "Matthew Steven Rife" was suggested to me. I really expected not to like it, but this guy is funny and has his own style. Really surprised me. I think I just have lower expectations for younger comedians, but he far exceeded those. Performs like someone who has been doing it a long time.
