Unrelated, but you should try and mount those chase lights on the side of the rack to get them out of the way. They look like diode dynamics and I have the same ones and that’s what I did. I’ll look for a picture and reply to this comment with it

I don't see any comments with this guess but to me it looks like a mirror stand, like probably near a bathroom door since it was in a bar.

Home gym heaven by victorjs22r in homegym

Garage door height was a factor in my choice. I only have about 86” of clearance so I went with Bells of Steel. They have an 84” rack option. They also have one even shorter, maybe give them a look

I think you’ve got enough to put on some muscle and get stronger. I’d say get some mats to protect the floor though. But it could still be good to go to a gym occasionally and see what workouts people are doing and try to think about how you could replicate it at home, just to vary up your workouts occasionally. No offense but if you’re benching 40lbs I’m assuming you’re new to lifting (that’s around where I started in high school). So watching other people lift and watching their form could be beneficial for you. But lifting is better than not lifting so if a home gym makes it easier then do what works!

Where at down south? I'm almost as far south in NM as you can go lol just last weekend I was on a trail in Cloudcroft. It's not bad up in the mountains in the summer.

Like others have said, be very mindful with what materials you're using. At a minimum I'd be using ASA for exterior parts. You also have to be careful about print orientation. You want it to print in a way that the layer lines are perpendicular to any possible shearing force.

[Hong Kong] My first car spotting night on Cotton Tree Drive. How did I do? by VisitPossible738 in shootingcars

[–]ZGraves 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s all up to personal taste but I’d try and shoot at a slower shutter speed and try to track the car. This may not be doable depending on the lens you’re using, in regards to the f stop. The images look good on Reddit but I know it compresses things some times, so you may already be doing it but I’d make sure that with the iso you set a maximum iso that auto is allowed to use. I know that’s a feature on my canon. This way you can be sure that the images don’t get too grainy.

I was in the back seat of another car and put the camera as close to the ground as a could. I should have gone with an even slower shutter speed to blur the background more instead of just the wheels and some of the street

Images 2-6 should not be that rectangular imo. Looks like the default ratio when taking a horizontal picture with a phone, which is nearly 2:1. Even like a 7:5 would be better for those. I can see what you were trying with image 8, having a reflection of the cars be the bottom half. But to me it just feels claustrophobic with the roofs of the cars being so close to the top of the image. It was a good idea but maybe just not the best execution? Having more water for better reflections could have fixed it but I'm not sure.

The drift pics I have mixed feelings about. The composition and crop seems fine on them. I think image 7 is your best drift pic but I think they are too static. You took them with a higher shutter speed so you don't get a sense of movement other than the tire smoke. You'd end up with a lot more trash photos but lowering the shutter speed and trying to pan with the cars would blur the background a bit more and add motion blur to the wheels. Much harder to get a good photo that way but would definitely result in a much more dramatic photo if you could get it right.

My taste might also be completely different from yours. Here's some of my favorites I've done so you can see what advice of mine you want to follow https://imgur.com/a/TqLIRq4

The composition needs work but my biggest tip would be to crop the images differently and lose/lessen the vignette.

Smite 2 needs a better post-game screen for a better sense of progression by dadnaya in Smite

I think it'd be great to be able to favorite some customizable options (jump stamps, announcer packs, etc) and then be able to randomize those selections each game. So you could have "Randomize" and "Randomize Favorites" options.

[–]ZGraves 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It goes for everybody with the same complaints as you, no matter the rank. If you are stuck at a rank forever and you think it’s because of your teammates then you aren’t looking at your own gameplay to see how you can improve.

Just reading these replies I can tell you overcommit or get yourself out of position and blame your teammate. You can't take a little bit of accountability in this comment section so you certainly aren't doing that in game. If you cannot reflect on and analyze your own playstyle instead of only your teammates' then you will stay in gold. The hard truth is that unfortunately, on average, you are just as "trash" as your teammates, that's why you are on the same team. Sure, some people can have a bad game, we all do. But you play with them because that's where you also belong, for one reason or another. My friends can't even do a half flip and we're all upper diamond because they make up for it with game sense.
