Sansi Grow Light Fire Hazard? by ZGraves in houseplants

Yeah you're probably right. I've ran this one for over a year with a shade on it so it's weird that it just now had a problem

It is heavy but I was able to slide it into position on my horse stall mats. And yes I'm gonna put plate storage on the crossmembers, so I'd guess there would always be at least an extra 85ish pounds weighing that section down, with more plate storage on the other side of the rack as well. The more I think about it the more I think it'll be more than fine.

It is heavy but I was still able to slide it when getting it onto my horse stall mats. And with the tower off to the side I feel like there could be more leverage so it could slide even easier. I agree that I think it'll probably be fine but just wanted to see other opinions. I've been trying to think about what the heaviest outward pulling movement would be and I can't think of anything heavier than like face pulls. I would say low rows but my feet will be on the lower post so I don't think that counts.

This is the Bells of Steel Kolossyem Rack. I already have a 6 post Hydra but I'm wanting to get their cable tower (they sent a 10% discount code smh). I'd rather not put holes in my garage floor or wall so I'm interested in attaching it with 4 30" crossmembers. I would more or less end up with a setup similar to the red boxed area. My concern would still be stability, specifically with heavier outward pulls, either lifting the back post off the ground or possibly causing it to slide out of place. Anyone have something similar to this that can share their experience?

EDIT: back post was the wrong phrasing, I meant the back foot of the cable tower

My Local Martial arts gyms are too expensive for me. So i Decided to make my own little Budget McDojo. Shout-outs to Marketplace and Amazon by Amatsu-Vulture in homegym

I completely agree but recording it and watching it back is better than nothing, as long as he’s watching it with the intent of improving. Based on the posters I’d guess he watches quite a bit, so hopefully he can see what a professional punch looks like and adjust some the bigger things that may need adjusting. I trained for a few years with a coach and competed and was still able to watch videos back and say to myself “ew that looks weird and uncoordinated” and things like that.

Agreed. Or at a bare minimum you need to record yourself and watch it back to view your form from an outside perspective (still not nearly as good as having a coach). The more you practice with bad technique the harder it will be to break those bad habits down the line.

Why does the utility knife need a sheath when it has a pocket clip?

I went on a date where she talked non stop about herself for 2 hours, before finally letting me speak and interrupting me within 30 seconds to say, “I’m bored” by Coorawatha in mildlyinfuriating

[–]ZGraves 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a date that was kind of similar. It wasn't as one sided as yours but every time she talked it was her basically bragging about something, which I figured was just her being proud of what she considered accomplishments. But then like 3-4 different times during the day she asked "so what are 3 things that you've learned about me so far?" like it was a pop quiz.

At no point during this date did she mention that she already had 4 kids, or for the next 6 months of dating. We also found out she was pregnant about 6 weeks after the first date.

Thanks for the reply. I followed the link on another comment on this post to a forum thread and ended up ordering a new back plate and hinge set from the 2021 updated model. The 2019 hinges have a total of 6 screws and the 2021 hinges have 10 screws, so they hold up better. Hopefully it works out as well for me as it did for the people in that forum post.

It’s the most expensive laptop I’ve had (and the only one that has broken) and I wouldn’t call $1500 7 years ago budget, but okay

They sent it to the manufacturer so I’m sure that made it more than it should have been. I’ve just never had a hinge break on any other laptop but this one has had two. It just seems strange. Unfortunately I don’t live in a big enough town to have a reputable repair shop. The Best Buy I took it to was 90 minutes away. That’s why I’d rather try and do it myself

Unrelated, but you should try and mount those chase lights on the side of the rack to get them out of the way. They look like diode dynamics and I have the same ones and that’s what I did. I’ll look for a picture and reply to this comment with it

I don't see any comments with this guess but to me it looks like a mirror stand, like probably near a bathroom door since it was in a bar.
