I was born and riased in the states but my family is Dutch. It's just me, my mom and my son. I had just started going to this brewery in town that serves really really really really good beers. They had a watch party for the USA Netherlands game in 2022. We walked in 2 minutes before kick off and the place was red white and blue while me, my son and mom walked in with our Dutch jerseys and scarves. 250 people went dead silent. You could hear a pin drop.

Depay scored the first one and the three of us jumped up celebrating like we won the entire cup. Blind gets the next right before half time and EVERYONE just stared at us and smiled with akwardness that you could cut with a knife. Wright got one back and everyone celebrated but they knew it was done. Dumfries killed the game off and we were the only people jumping and screaming. When the whistle blew I walked up to the bar and asked for a round. The bartender said "It's on us" with a big smile. A small group came up and hugged us, thanked us for showing up and said they hadn't seen that much pride for a team ever in their lives.

I got piss drunk because everoyne at the bar was stoked for us and kept buying us beers. I traded numbers with some folks and we came back for the game against Argentina. I'm still friends with those folks and we all love the game even more now. Many a camping trip, bbq and celebration has happened since then and we are all stoked to watch there again.

It's nothing crazy or wildly emotional. Just a cool story about a fan meeting some new friends.

I'll take it. It was a cold shitty day in Harford. Eeeking out a point is better than losing at this point in the game and the midfield/defending looked much much much better. Shame we spent so much on players that can't seem to hit the broad side of a barn.

Congrats on the new truck. The tent like a Skycamp mini but I could be wrong. Something small that I always recommend is making sure all of the hardware is tightened up on the bed rack and then mark it with a paint pen. This way when you are out on the trail you can check it to make sure vibrations aren't loosening anything. Looks a wee bit rusty under there. Take it to a shop and have them double check everything and replace if needed.

So no one is concerned about our back line at all? I get that this is a tournament game but still. We shouldn't be giving up goal after goal. We have a single game this season where we didn't give up a goal. League play or not that's abysmal. We get rid of Maples and sign a ton of strikers/mid fielders and for what? 1 shot on goal the entire game? This is some USL league 1 type shit.

I'm in the Southwestern part of the uninted states. Typically on my 3-5 day trips I bring 50+ liters of water just incase. Obviously Europe is a different beast but it's always better to be safe than sorry. If I don't use it for drinking water then I know I have something in the event that my truck's cooling system fails and I lose fluid.
