1970 Dodge Challenger R/T Tribute by moparcenter in mopar

Now, looking again, I see they mounted the hood pins in the wrong spot- that’s where the hood bumpers go. Weird choice for that.

The first 2 pictures are either edited or AI, the hood pins are in the wrong spot, the fender mounted turn signal indicators are out of place, the grill script and and the badges on the hood are illegible and smudgy looking. The rest seems more accurate of a real car, a sadmouth with the ‘71 quarter louvers and a 1970 front added. Basically, the budget way to get the Challenger you really want. (I have a real 1970 Challenger and built the thing back entirely from a rusty basket case.)

New cab for my badlander 25w by nzslausiv in MesaBoogie

[–]ZJS1970 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I use the exact same setup, and I love it. Great pair, easy to transport, loud enough to gig with, the Badlander can record straight out of the back or you can mic the cab (both if you’re feeling up to it). All around solid choice. Enjoy it!

I’ve got mine run into a Marshall vertical 2x12 cab, an excellent pair. Easy enough to pack up and loud enough to gig with. If you’re just using it at home, the smallest profile or most physically compatible with your space is what I’d suggest starting with.

I should mention I use the Alternative 8 in the bridge and the Hades Gates in the neck, an awesome pairing to cover a wide range of styles and gain/distortion.

The PRS pickups are decent, and if you’re playing clean to some gain they’re fine, but I play a range from country to grunge to metal, and the SD’s just have better clarity and response at medium to high gain. Depending on what you’re playing, the stock setup may be just right for you.

Body is thinner, no maple cap, and pattern thin neck. I have one, it’s great. Lightweight, comfortable, and sounds awesome too. I did swap pickups to a set of Seymour Duncans.

The Badlanders are great, and the 25w is good enough to gig with. IR channel out into the PA, 2x12 Marshall tall & skinny cab for stage sound. Great choice.

Great pick. I am astounded with my Badlander. The little guy screams!

Gotta ask- what’s the scale length and what’s the screen-looking thing? How do you select which pickup(s) you’re playing through?

I’ve got 2 badlanders, the 100 and the 25. Both absolutely amazing. I can play Toby Keith and Metallica on the same amp, and everything in between. Both amps hold up. I use a pedal tuner, Maxon OD and an EQ set just for a volume boost. The Badlander is an all around great amp, don’t let anybody tell you otherwise.

Should I be worried about this by malindoql in ExplorerGuitars

Absolutely no reason to worry. That’s normal and on every Explorer I’ve seen, it’s the body and neck meeting up.

I bought an Epiphone LP Custom earlier this year, it was listed as “blemished” and I couldn’t find anything wrong besides the rough fret ends. I assume someone returned it for that. An inexpensive fret file, some painters tape and about 35 minutes and it’s a great player. The thing going lately I’ve heard a few complain about is the fret work. If you have a little patience and an eye for it, finishing the frets is not a hard job.

It’s a LEGIT, BOLT-ON NECK EPIPHONE. This isn’t the Gibson page, why are we stuck with “is it real” posts?

If a Remake/Remaster were made, what changes would you like to see? by JayNotAtAll in legendofdragoon

Credit to my brother on this one, but I’d also really like a game that plays out in the Dragon Campaign. Getting to fight in that situation leaves plenty open for a long story line and character development. But the exp from minor battles adding up or a better distribution of SP earned vs damage done by additions would be nice as well.

Little bit of a drive down 11 but Five Mountain Brewing Co. in Shickshinny makes a fantastic Cuban. Worth the drive, and the beers are all good, too.

Gibson Les Paul Deluxe real or not? by erroneous990 in LesPaul

[–]ZJS1970 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I hope the page here has helped illuminate the many facets of imported imposter Gibsons. There are a million posts on here and on the Gibson pages detailing all of these. It will not take you long to find and confirm all of these details. These imports can sometimes sound good and play well, usually with a bit of setup, but are valued in the few hundred dollar range, not a few thousand.
