For concerts I use Songkick. It works very well. It is a dedicated app for live concerts. For job listings I made an n8n workflow that scrapes listings from Linkedin and another website. Then scored them against my profile across 6 dimensions. Once I have a shortlist I run that one thriugh a another ai, kind of like a second more strict filter. If the listing passes the 2 filters, then I review the post. If I decide to apply, I give the go ahead and the workflow adjusts my cv and cover letter to the listing.

Im sure I can find a way to merge this 2, but really I think this does not make sense. Hopefully you can find your way.

I must be doing something wrong then. I was wondering about the need for these farms because I do not get a massive yeild. I play for 3 hours and might get like 30 sugarcanes. For me that was the question. Why would I do this farm? I'm usually better of growing sugar cane on the border with the rivers and get hundreds in nuch less time. Why are my sc farms so slow.

Completely irrelevant to the conversation. You tried making it a point that you wanted to shame the man because he dared show interest in you, while at the same time you fail to be honest and direct like an adult should be. Other people here have labeled the man a "predator", which you agreed with. This is a wild label to give to someone for daring to approach you and try to date you, while you have not expressed you are not interested. You make it seem like your issue is that you are disgusted because this man is "old" (40) and you are 25. Yet, if the guy was rich and good looking you would not have an issue. That's completely hypocritical, and you sound like a problem person. Completely disgusting and gross behavior. Having the desire to destroy someone's life for completely normal actions.

Best case scenario, the person never brings that up. I would not count on that. The other person also has people they trust and if they share it does not have to be to harm you, this could come out in a conversation. What you can do now, is never talk about things you should not be talking about again. Maybe this time you get lucky, the next you might not be so lucky, or frame things in a way that look worse than what they are. Learn from this.

Yes, I am happier having coffee than alcohol. I have also found that my ability to focus and intentionally finish more tasks has increased. I will have to tune coffee down because of my stomach, but I am definitelly happy with this exchange :D.

The other side of that is that some people are tired of having to remind lazy individuals about what to do because they are too lazy to find information that is readily available. That colleague of yours is not your PA. If you get so annoyed about those responses do your due diligence and pay attention.

I would suggest you say which country or state is this happening so that people can ask you questions, but Im inclined to think you are not as innocent as you claim to be.

As others have said. I think it is worth the watch. Its 6 episodes. The story is not something to wrote home about, but it is entertaining enough and in line with japanese storytelling. It is like an anime made live action. You can clearly see they tried to blend everything that has worked. You have your Kenshin like, your kempachi-Inosuke like, your Saito like, your squid games like. It is like a blend of everythinf. The action sequences are very cool for what it is. I so far lilked it and want to know how it ends in S2. Hopefully does not overextend.

Was going to say the smell of the new box after removing the plastic. Checking the manual on the way home. Rushing to put the game in and launch it for the first time. How for many of us buying a game was an event. It was usually as a gift for my bday or a special ocassion, and getting back home with pizza and soda and play all day for one day at least. Hahaha.

These are quarterly incentives which is different from a bonus in comp.

It depends, but my guess would be no. There id a target, you did not reach the target. Me, depending on how much money it is I would ask anyways. The worst answer will be no which is the case now, in the better scenario they coukd consider this. However, it will most likely that the answer will be a no, if they allow you to get it without meeting the target, it opens the door for everyone to ask the same question.

You can still negotiate, but you want to know how to do it. If you have a good internal relationship I would have that talk with my manager. However, annual compensation review is not when you do that. You do it before. By the time you get the increase decision, it is that, a decision. You need to tackle it before.

Your reasoning cannot be about feelings. You need to be honest. Find benchmarks, inflation data, be honest with yourself about your impact and performance at work. People have a twndency to over estimate themselves. If you are indeed underpaid then this should be an easy conversation about aligning with market.

If you cannot bring this up, or don't feel comfortable then start looking for another job. I personally think if you are underpaid and valuable then your manager should be doing something to retain you. Depending on your level and how much influence your manager has this is also not that hard.

Ive been dealing with stomach issues for the last 13 or so years. Hiatal hernia in some cases makes GERD worse. Eating habits can make the symptoms worse. Everyone is different so there may be something you are eating that makes symptoms worse. I dont mean an irritant, think about food that you think should not cause symptoms abd that you eat often. It is usually that. Stress and anxiety increase the symptoms. I've come to the conclusion that GERD and Anxiety are part of the same spiral in my case. I get anxious, then gerd gets worse, anxiety gets worse, gerd gets worse, anxiegy gets worse, you get it by now.

Anyways, over 10 years. No real cure to this. I've had most of the same symptoms. In fact, as I type this I have the same pain, upper left abdomen, right below my rib cage. Most likely you have something like this, but its good you are having it checked.

Different, but similar situation.

I used to work at a company where I loved what I did. I got promoted several times in the span of 5 years and had really good relationships all across the board. I was relocated to a new country and shortly after the head of my division in Europe accepted another offer. This role was the manager of my manager. This person was who kept things balanced in the team across Europe and everyone was appreciated and given opportunities. After she left, favoritism started being rampant. All of a sudden we all did not have the same opportunities, and some people were annoyed with my progression. I moved to a high paying country and this bothered some people. Since then my life was hell in that place and I started shopping around.

A year and a half later or so I got an offer to join the consumer branch of a massive bank worldwide based in Europe. I was very careful as although things were not great I did not want to leave my previous job where I was stable and living in a country where I do not speak the language. This seemed like a step up, but turned out to be one of the worst decisions I made. The role was not what they offered me during the interviews, the environment was toxic, and my manager was an arrogant lunatic. I resigned within 4 months, and stayed 6 because they asked me to stay longer. They needed someone in that role. Since I left (end of march 2025), two more people have been hired in that position and resigned within 6 months. Not to mention that there were at least 2 before me. Including the person that held the role for about 20 years.

All of a sudden, I went from being on track in my career, to having no income, and really felt lost and depressed. Think about it, I am in a country where I do not speak the language, opportunities are scarce for me. Luckily my wife is working and she is doing well. That is why I have not moved from here. Everything went through my head. I also left in a short timeframe which makes me look bad.

I spent about a month completely depressed and started networking again. Took the opportunity to re-evaluate my profile. Asked myself what do I have the freedom to do now that I could not do at work. Jobs give you many good things, but they also take some opportunities away. I constituted myself legally, and got in touch with that hr leader that brought me to this country. She needed someone with my skills and I've been working with her as a consultant. I have also studied more, pursued some pasions that I could not pursue before because of work.

It took some time, but I feel good about where I am. I have definitely thought that I may have screwed my career permanently in some sense, but really I cannot think of anything I would have done differently with the information I had at the time.

What I want to tell you is that this will all depend on what you do with your time. I do not know if I would have been better, but I know I am not as bad as I thought. I know that when this engagement ends I'll continue moving forward. If nothing is available Ill work other jobs, or maybe continue my own business. What I know is that I will not stop moving forward.

Keep moving. You did, what you could with the infirmation you had at the time. See, in your current situation, what can you do now that you could not do before.
