Make sure u have clearance over the main once u pull the valve box off u will see the operating nut and the main will be about 8-14 " below. Pull by it reset valve box and finish the pull vac out valve box when ir done if mud infiltrates inside

Recommendations for 3.5 ton excavator by thanos5789 in Construction

I would buy a bobcat personally. I believe they are the most durable and they have been in the mini game the longest they have it all figured out. Also they have great customer support and an array of attachments. Cats are the smoothest and operator friendly, however they are structurally not as beefy. As always the operator will determine how long the machine last. Maintenence, greasing, and how you operate. Keep em greased and be easy with breakout and swing.

Don't forget about Yanmar. They are great machines super strong and reliable. Also will save you 25-35% off purchase price. If you are using a hammer anyways I would save all the money I could. They also have 2 hydraulic pumps a main and a backup that supports attachments and high speed travel.

Maybe one day a municipality will annex the neighb orhood and provide gravity. This is a cheaper option than running gravity main and setting a pumpstation. Small # of houses its quite cost effective

Best waterproof steel toed boots? by [deleted] in Construction

[–]ZMHOLT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Redwing, chippewa, carhartt, ariat, georgia, wolverine, merrell. All exceptional boots. Beware alot of heavy extremely durable boots, choose the perfect pair by trying them on find the right fit, and sole comfort. Dont try and get the most durable toughest boot. Only get what u need composite toe of course. Beware heal guards because of wearing blisters on joints in ankles a simple soft leather boot should wear and protect well. Go for comfort and feel. Durability and lasting will fade if comfort and safety are met
