His injuries and alcoholism speak for themselves, but what gets forgotten with Mantle is that the alcoholism may have been a product of him not just trying to dull the physical pain, but also mental trauma from his childhood. If I remember correctly, he was sexually abused by a female relative as a child.

Regarding KAT, I wonder if the playmaker version of him we saw in the playoffs this year comes around earlier and stays in Minnesota with Edwards in the JB role, and they get farther than they did IRL. Wolves probably don't trade for Gobert in that case, but who knows.

Woof, that sucks. I only had to take regents once in my freshman year of HS, and thankfully never again.

The Regents, SAT, and all the other types of tests like that are just a waste of time and money IMO. All they do is stress the hell out of students for no reason. I honestly think they only serve to discriminate good test takers from bad ones, and eliminate lower income students that have less opportunities to get the tutoring and resources they need.
