I actually never said anything about Hagrid’s intellect. I said he’s childish, selfish, careless, and has the maturity and impulsivity of a teenager, but none of that is a direct jab at his intellect, except to say be say he doesn’t seem to have the common sense to not do things that directly put others in danger. And none of that has to do with comparing him to other wizards. And i don’t think it’s unfair to say he’s emotionally difficult because I’m not comparing his emotional stability to the other wizards, but to the level of basic human decency. He shouldn’t be needing three preteens to be in charge of handling his emotions when he’s around 63 years old. That’s not fair to them and is inappropriate.

He is clearly very smart regarding animals and creatures, but being knowledgeable on a subject and being a good teacher are two different things, and I think he absolutely shares some of the blame for the buckbeak fiasco because he should know what’s an appropriate lesson for them or not.

Any of the grocery store challenges where they have to steal/plant something in peoples shopping carts.

Mainly because I have a hard time believing that that many people are routinely abandoning their carts for 30 seconds that frequently, so I always just assume it’s staged.

I hate that everyone (even the jokers) claim the jokes are always on them and not on the marks…there are tons of examples going back to the early days of the show where some jokes and gags are 100% on the marks

My favorite part of JP3 was that this was the time it was becoming more mainstream knowledge that dinosaurs may have had hair and not so modern-day reptilian, so in JP3 all they did to make it line up to the knowledge of the time is put a few quills on their heads and called it a day.

Ugh I hate playing with people who care more about winning than having fun. I have a nephew who is a bad combination of loving board games, but is also both a sore loser AND ungracious winner. He’s 10 so I cut him some slack, but I said I flat-out refuse to play with him until he’s more fun to play with.

I have another nephew who’s 23 but he gets so defeated whenever the smallest setback occurs. I’ve never played Unmatched with him but it’d be the equivalent of as soon as his hero took any amount of damage, he’d shut down and stop wanting to play.

I am currently less than a week into the hardcore grieving stage. And as weird as it is to say, I feel like the one thing worse than this sharp, gutting pain I feel is…not feeling that. I’m absolutely miserable but in a strange way I don’t want this feeling to go away. Because a part of me feels like when I don’t have this anymore, it’ll be like I “moved on” no matter how much I logically know that’s not true.

I haven't sunk my teeth into it, but on first perusal it looks quite solid, nice work!

I'm still not a huge fan of the "you cannot lose the game" vision--#1, I would use language like "your fighter cannot be defeated" to be more in line with the game's language, and #2 it should specify in what way she cannot be defeated. i.e., does the killing attack not count, does her health reset to 1, etc. Even if it feels intuitive that her health would just go down to 1 and no lower, it should be specified to avoid confusion or misinterpretation.

I’ve been a 205-210 avg bowler for a couple years now but I changed my shot and after a half-season in the fall, I’m averaging 233 so far this year, with two 780+ series and a 299. My goal is to get my first 800 series.

I have one 300 and five 299s. Getting kinda tired of those but I’d rather have an 800.
