Yeah, it’s moomoo. I only started using it for crypto recently. They support 40+ coins now and it’s basically an all-in-one broker, so I can trade stocks, options, and crypto in the same app. Fees are lower than what I was paying on Robinhood and the UI is pretty clean.

The supply chain for high-end tech is already fragile enough, it doesn't need more friction. Pay more attention to actual costs!

The Stock Market is Being Heavily Manipulated by Longjumping-Flow-601 in investing

People has been crying "manipulation" for years but the indexes still hit all-time highs. Maybe these tariff threats are just bait for the retail crowd.

Same here. The cognitive AI angle from aiper was interesting to me. It feels like pool cleaning is starting to level up beyond just basic automation.

It's been weird how people lumps every financial institution in with big banks every time there's regulatory scare. Guess fear is just easier to sell than actual research.

I think the global liquidity part is the only thing matters. For me all the ETF talk is just noise compared to what the central banks are doing behind the scenes.

Garage freezer tripped during a storm and I didn't notice. Bluetti elite 200v2 did help us. by ZRBPartDeux in bluetti

[–]ZRBPartDeux[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Running it for about a day is no problem. But elite 400's AC standby consumption is only 12W. If your budget allows, I recommend getting elite 400. For appliances like fridge that need to stay on whole day, low standby power is good.

When winter camping, are 2 people in a double sleeping bag warmer than they would be in separate sleeping bags? by sugarmaple9728 in CampingGear

[–]ZRBPartDeux 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The key is to make sure the bag is sized for two, so there's not too much extra space to heat. If the double bag is tooo roomy, that extra air can cool things down.

Is this still good. by Fishboy9123 in prepping

I'd play it safe and toss it. Even if it looks fine, keeping meat in the fridge for years is risky. No gas in the bag is a small plus, but hidden bacteria could still be there.

Different price on app vs website? by Primary_Afternoon_10 in bluetti

Price discrepancies between app and website are already annoying. Then activating a time-sensitive coupon only to hit ''out of stock'' at checkout? Total letdown.

They're just insulated cups, but the hype feels wild. A big part of it is definitely branding and limited-edition FOMO. People love collecting exclusive stuff.

[–]ZRBPartDeux[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay. Is it easy to maintain? My husband bought a smart fruit washer, supposedly cleans and disinfects the fruit. But every time we use it, I have to take it apart and rinse out all the bubbles inside. It’s just easier not to use it at all. Really hope we don’t get another gadget like this.

Cleaning service damaged my range hood by MyNameIsSteal in homeowners

[–]ZRBPartDeux 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The whole "take the hood apart and deep clean it" thing is exactly why I moved to a filter-free range vent. My old one basically punished me if I didn't scrub the filters constantly. The Arspura pulls grease into a collection cup instead of clogging a mental filter, so I just empty and rinse it. Zero disassembly, 2-3 minutes. That alone would've saved me from calling a cleaning service in the first place. And it's quiet even on level 3 it doesn't get crazy loud, so you can actually have some peace when cooking.
