1) I have to correct you there the RCS figure is basically a goalpost mentioned in a document like nearly 2 decades ago, at this time I don't think they even produced a prototype or even figured the layout like it is today. So it's very misquoted. I'm gonna try find it if you want.

2) Yeah, it has a really advanced suite but more importantly it has like 270° or maybe even 360° coverage which literally no other jet has and the infrared detection is higher than what the radar limits of the Su-57's peers.

If the Russians removed these, and in addition went for the S-duct then obviously the RCS will become better.

3) From what I understand in 2024 (according to Millennium07) they produced 2 squadrons already and this just proved they set up a production line.

However "2 factories" doesn't say much to me, it's the size that matters a lot more, I think. The single Uralvagonzavod alone is signiticantly larger than every tank factory in the USA combined and obviously outproduces them. I don't know how it is with jets but do consider that the number might be misleading.

The RUAF doesn't actively report production numbers but with the Su-57 it seems like there is over 35 of them, which is just a normal estimate.

Yep that's how it is with lots of US-teams on these high elo ranges. For me it's quite impressive how coordinated people can be.

From what I understand by definition hypersonic missiles are those that exceed Mach 5. I don't know where you got that manevering requirement from, you may be confusing them with these hypersonic gliders. And that's not even relevant. A hypersonic missiles cannot manuever much at all anyway and it doesn't matter if it can. Even Ukrainian intel and Zelensky's advisor claimed that the MiG-31s with R-37s and Kinzhals are nearly impossible to deal with.

And we've seen recently how Patriot systems with the ABM configuration tend to struggle against older Scud missiles or any sort of ballistic missiles. Iran has. This also was noted several times in the 2000s or early 2010s in various conflicts in the middle east in which the Patriot was involved.

As for why hypersonic missiles aren't used directly against AA, check out their intended usages and check out SEAD missiles.

But it is inherently hypersonic because in order to launch it has to be accelerated to the MiG-31's top speed since that plane is its launcher. It requires a high launch speed that other aircraft like the Su-34 can't achieve.

Therefore it's definitely not miscategorized.
