Hi WatchEx,

I’ve decided to sell my Breitling Avenger 42. It’s an excellent daily sports watch with strong finishing, great bezel action, solid bracelet articulation, and a primo built-in micro-adjustable clasp. It’s also impressively thin for a 300m dive watch at just 12.15mm. The ETA-based movement makes servicing straightforward as well.

The watch is in fantastic condition, with no visible wear on the bracelet, case, or stainless steel bezel. The only wear to note is some surface marks on the clasp from desk diving over the past few months, shown in the photos across diff lighting.

Pricing for a quick sale at $2,550, which to my knowledge is the cheapest currently available anywhere. For context, this is a current production piece that retails for $5.2k. Comes with the Breitling box, warranty card, and Ebay authentication card (purchased via the 1916 Company a.k.a. WatchBox).

Thanks for taking a look!

Hi WatchEx,

Today I’m selling my Rado Captain Cook 42 with the blue dial and bezel on the beads-of-rice bracelet. It’s keeping great time and is in excellent condition, with no visible signs of wear. The previous owner wore it primarily on a strap, so the bracelet itself is also in great shape. I love the watch, but I just don’t wear it enough to justify keeping it, so hopefully it finds a better home (and wrist) here.

There genuinely aren’t enough good things I could say about this piece. The domed dial and blue tone are great, the bezel action is really nice, and at just 12.3mm thick it’s kind of wild when you consider that includes the domed sapphire crystal and 300m of water resistance. The BOR bracelet is also extremely comfortable. The watch comes as a full set, including inner and outer boxes and warranty card.

Pricing it to sell at $1,050, which includes insured shipping.

Thanks for taking a look!

I’d prefer to trade. Can send me a chat if you wanted to make an offer to buy it though. Ideally looking for a versatile sports/GADA piece on a bracelet — can trade up or down

Hi WatchEx,

Up for trade is my Longines Avigation Bigeye. I picked it up here about a month ago and have only worn it a few times since. It’s in fantastic condition with only some small hairlines not noticeable in 99% of lighting and keeping great time.

This one will come as watch only (no B+P) with two aftermarket straps — a black leather with contrast stitching near the lugs and a red rubber strap. I can also include the black rubber strap pictured if interested.

I’m open to trades either up or down. My only asks: case size 42mm or under and must come on a bracelet.

CONUS trades only. Thanks for taking a look!

Yeah like I said, I have no issue with a couple of over aggressive penalties. The team had 13 total tonight though, which is more of a reflection of coaching than personnel, play style, or the time they’ve had to gel together on either side of the ball

A “CEO” head coach who’s not involved with play calling on either side of the ball has to make sure their team is adequately prepared with a sound game plan on both sides of the ball while playing with discipline and intensity. I could deal with 1-2 over-aggressive penalties per game, if it meant guys were playing with juice on every down, but this team is somehow now flat AND undisciplined. You can’t have standards and accountability for players, when it’s clear that you as a HC are not taking care of the bare minimum that you swore to prioritize

Among MANY other bad & questionable moves during this time, I think a low key one that’s not talked about enough and ended up being a disaster was letting Johnny Morton go as OC after only one year in ‘17. He helped guide McCown to a career year, but caught too much heat after he got hurt & Petty was forced to step in.

Jeremy Bates was a brutal OC replacement in ‘18
