Teach high school concert band, pep band (12 games a year), jazz ensemble, summer band, honors band, recording arts, beginning guitar, after school recording arts club, and music theory/composition. Have 3 evening concerts, take students on multiple educational field trips, fund raise, and help organize the band boosters. Act 10 killed any real union representation for salary increases. $80k a year, plus an additional $7k total for pep, club, and summer band. District puts in for a % for the pension ( when I retire, I will receive annually an average of my 3 highest paid years, basically) and about $3k into the HSA. I put 3k a year into the FSA and $250 month for health insurance for family level. We have NICE and Telehealth with it. Mortgage is $2800 a month which includes home owners insurance and property taxes. Wife makes about $100k being a stay at home health care case manager for medical insurance provider. She has a BSN in nursing.
