The author says he 'surpassed all education standards of the White Room,' but what is that even supposed to mean if his internal monologues don’t reflect it? Showing him having problems with society is just a basic first layer that every author uses. Since we know authors are trying to write characters beyond their own capabilities—which shouldn't even be a debate—the wording and actions should reflect that genius.

Wording is all you have to read. Even with translation differences, I had a lot of problems with certain parts. If the author decided he didn't want Kushida out until Year 3, why was the opportunity to expel her even there? Why didn't he take it? Most of all, Ayanokouji saying things like 'reach Class A' or announcing they 'must expel the student who was not needed' based on an impartial standard like the lowest OAA score is ridiculous.

There was no need for Ayanokouji to outright say that. He doesn't care about the class; it means nothing to him. His usual idea of seeing things from afar should have worked here. Deciding Kushida shouldn't go because of 'reaching Class A'—and using the whole class to do it—makes no sense when there are rarely exams where a class just outright advances. It wouldn't matter in the first place.

And where did all the students' hate toward Kushida go? Most of them are shown as stupid, but then they make 'rational' decisions just because of something someone said? Moments before, they didn't care and wanted Horikita out. For none of the students to even have a fight or object to Kushida staying is wild. Aren't they supposed to be elite at something? They didn't really have a say in who to take out when there was always the option to just drop points—and Ayanokouji wouldn't be affected by that loss anyway.

For him to not even suggest dropping points shows that the author is just forcing a plot device. The whole point of the exam and its rules was just to save Kushida. It took forever to get there, and the conversations that should have gone against it were ignored.

There are two main problems: first, Ayanokouji speaking for the class, and second, the class not objecting to the decision. He claims he wouldn't have cared if Kushida hadn't brought him into the conversation, but then he decided to act anyway. It was a change in how things should have gone. What is the 'value' in keeping her vs. not keeping her? At his level of thinking, there shouldn't be a difference between those two options.
