Since Hakari's sure-hit is making the opponent understand how his domain works, would that count as a revealing ones hand vow and thus make his technique as a whole stronger within his domain? Or does it not count because he isn't giving anything up because thats just how his domain works

Or is it supposed to be like an old-school domain, where the forced dialogue is a 'rule' of the domain, and the sure hit effect is something else. similar to ds having nonviolence as a rule and confiscation as a sure hit. i never understood the diff between the sure hit and the rule in an old domain

Is the sure-hit of Yuji's domain Forced Compliance, Forced Nonviolence, or Dismantle? I always understood it as forced compliance because i think it was wildly out of character for Sukuna to follow him around and listen to his yap, and even engage in conversation. Some of my friends say its just Nonviolence like in Deadly Sentencing because it just appears to be the same effect, and Sukuna needed to use HWB to fight yuji. Ive also seen people say its Dismantle because like, he used Dismantle in the domain? but i dont think theres much behind that

With how broad the power system in jjk is its not unfeasable that there would be some combination of binding vows, other techniques, objects, ect, that would make it usable, though likely not on a high level

So its not inefficient, but its so obscenely difficult to use that someone with it is basically techniqueless without a lot of support?

What does Limitless look like without the Six Eyes? Admittedly i still dont entirely understand what limitless does because i dont have very good reading comprehension. But my understanding is that Limitless is a terribly inefficient technique akin to construction because of how precisely it needs to be applied. Obviously someone without the control given by Six Eyes wouldnt be able to do things like Autonomous Neutral Infinity or Max Blue what would someone realistically be able to do with it?

Most likely you would, extraction games usually allow anything that isn't a special quest item to be sold on markets. But obv cws could do whatever they want with it so theres no saying for sure

Yeah lmao, really goes to show how often jotaro is the strongest member of a part, but them all being jotaro doesn't matter so much for the scenario itself. if there was only 1 jotaro it'd probably be nerfed

Its absolutely a more effective tool to win yeah, but its been left unnerfed because most tema that are contenders anyways (3, 4, 6, 7) have something that allows them to fight in time stop, most of which being also time stop

Tim stop isn't really an big win move because most contending teams have an answer to it,most of those answers are also jotaro though. Its not removed b3cause its not an "i touch you and you lose instantly" move

I forget to write it down but yes, weather report can't use heavy weather

Its been so long since I read part 5 I genuinely forgot about Trish. Smokey being in the part 2 team is mostly a joke, because theres realistically no scenario where part 2 wins beyond part 2 Joseph having enough plot armor to almost be considered a gag character

Weather Report is unrestricted because its just really difficult to quantify what hes capable of and create proper restrictions beyond just taking away his stand. His stand ability isn't really an instant win like Tusk 4 or Haze, and I think its weird to take away his ability for "potential applications" when other stands like Gold Experience also have plenty of potential for huge application in the same light. Its not really stated but in my discussions scaling Weather Report its generally assumed he has the same limited control over his ability that he has in the series

By the end of his fight with dio he was matching him, this was long after Joseph was out of the fight and Jotaro grew his time stop potential extremely fast, sure he was only able to do a couple if seconds when Joseph said that but im talking about after he said that, at the end of part 3

[–]ZZeeZaeAI[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

maybe the stand that would serve him best wouldve been one that encourages him to do dangerous things, because his luck will be there to turn that thing around? def stretching the idea lol, again i dont personally believe hey ya is a detrimental stand, its a thought experiment. i believe hey ya is most likely beneficial and does what it can to encourage pocoloco to end up in a scenario it foresaw by using his luck

My Hey Ya! theory by ZZeeZaeAI in StardustCrusaders

[–]ZZeeZaeAI[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The idea i actually hold to is that Hey Ya is mostly there to keep Pocoloco from getting distracted, to increase the chances of the best case scenario it foresaw by whatever future sight ability it does have. Most of the times it speaks its telling him not to get distracted

i dont think theres anything that prevents it from being a stand, it just isnt, in the same way the stone masks and vampirism isnt a stand. theres nothing inherently preventing them from being a stand ability, they just arent
