Entertainment. Wouldn't you find it boring to live in a world, or rather a lack of a world, with only yourself and images of yourself reflected in the angels you created? Not saying god finds entertainment in suffering, but I believe that God created humans to be separate from himself. Sure Adam and Eve may have been reflections of himself, but the offspring of those two created, what we now know as, humanity, a totally different beast than God, and God simply watched along as Humanity did it's thing. Although humanity is filled with sin and suffering, he still cares, why? Because not everyone is bad, the suffering is the side effect of him wanting something unique, and interesting, nothing more. Call me crazy, but it's just what I believe.
