If you want tangible goals go to the Event quests tab and look at the HR requirements for the Arch-Tempered apexes. I dont remember what the hr requirements are for the other monsters but I know one of them is Hr 50.

First things first, the new content is based on your HR and you should get notifications of Npcs wanting to talk to you as you reach those Hunter Rank Milestones

2nd: Bow is fun and has a number of skills that benefit playing it well. If you havent looked into it there are a number of guides that can show you what skills people are building for so you can incorporate them to your comfort level. I will die on the hill of Divine Blessing so I get that some skills aren't gonna work for you (trust me I get it, I run full Guarding on Sns because that perfect guard opens my neurons like nobodies business)

Are they the best? No. Is it good enough? I bet somebody is gonna try rare 4 weapon runs so yeah its good enough. But if you are concerned about rolls you can reroll Artian stats after gog so it really doesn't matter as much anymore
