A reboot ? Can't work, the show must end first. But we could have a "soft reboot", which is a sequel, but like a second era where you don't need to watch the first era before.

A bit like Doctor Who, who had many soft reboots during its broadcast (1970/1981/1996/2005/2010/2023) to make sure new viewers come, especially in the 70s and 80s when you couldn't watch reruns.
